I stayed in this wonderful chalet in June and it’s an amazing get away! It’s right on the cliff face with stunning views and sun sets it you go in the summer. Facilities are clean and the hosts are LOVELY. There’s a cute cafe at the top of the hill and the beach is super close. Couldn’t recommend enough!

An adorable little chalet with the most amazing views! We have stayed a couple of times and I can’t wait to go back. The rooms are clean and comfy, with a lovely living room area. The balcony looking out over the sea is the key feature though - perfect for chilling, along with bbq’s on the grass below. Access to the beach is good and there’s a little cafe and a more formal restaurant a few mins walk away. Overall a gem of a find!

What a delight this little chalet was. The views are really quite unbelievable. Nice outside eating area. Sunbeds and games to play in the evening. It’s basic but had everything we needed for the week. Communication with the owner was easy and informative. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Location is with out doubt the winner here. Allocated car parking space. Cafe just 2 minutes away for breakfast. The view restaurant, serving mainly fish was outstanding. Literally a 5 minute stroll away. I would stay here again.

Amazing place. Views to die for and total peace and quite and privacy. Stunning beach when tides go out. Very steep path and steps down to the beach and steep and slippy in the wet to the chalet but great for burning the calories off after eating in the little cafe at the top of the hill. Food in there is amazing. We will be going back for sure.

We loved loved loved it here. An amazing little hidden gem. There is nothing like just sitting on the deck looking at the changing colours of the sea and sky. And the ability to walk down to the most amazing beach every day and spend hours down there. So relaxing. Feel like a different person leaving!! The beach hut itself is great. Everything you could think of is provided and more. Spotlessly clean and tidy on arrival. Throw back the big fold doors and just let the light stream in. We loved it.

We are two busy teachers who came to stay for the half term with the intention of walking a lot and driving round the beautiful coastal villages of Cornwall. We actually spent a great deal more time that we had expected simply staying at Windwhistle, sitting on the decking with it's amazing/stunning views of the sea, reading our books and relaxing in a way we had not previously thought possible. We were very lucky with the weather (glorious Autumn sunshine all week bar one or two little rain showers) but the folding picture window in the cottage, which made it feel like you were sitting outside even though you were in the comfort of an armchair, was a real bonus. Having the reserved parking space was another real bonus as were many other things - the amazing walks (do the walk from Whitsand Bay to Crawsand and Kingsand) a mixture of woods, open spaces and glorious coastline - the friendly cafes and places where you can get a warm cocoa and the even more friendly local people. Windwhistle is well equipped with just about everything you need - including a washer/dryer, microwave, brand new fitted bathroom and even a shed full of extras - we made use of the loungers on the decking. The evenings are cosy as you listen to the wind outside but plenty of radiators and the log stove to keep you warm. I would recommend to anyone whether you are looking for a couple of days away or a couple of weeks - go there - you won't be disappointed.

Windwhistle is the perfect getaway. It has everything you could need with the most perfect view. Sunshine from 9am as it comes around the headland through to sunsets in the evening. Chalet is located half way down the cliff, perfect for both beach and getting back to the top (although it is very steep!) Great outside space too - with fantastic decking and an extra garden area. Bedrooms are cozy and the mattresses are fabulous! Can't wait to return.

We had a lovely few days! The chalet is in a fantastic location with stunning views all around, it also seems private & not really overlooked at all. It’s very practical & good for dogs. It was lovely having the wood burner at night with the windows open looking out to the sea & sitting outside in the morning with a cup of coffee in the peace & quiet , watching the waves. We’ll definitely return

We had a fab time at the chalet for our first family holiday with our baby. The views from the chalet are stunning. The peace and quiet was just what we where after. The chalet is fully equipped with everything you will need, we took advantage of the bbq on a few nights during our stay. We had our first trip to the beach with our daughter she loved it. Bit or a trek down to the beach but well worth it. We went with some friends and always managed to find a second parking space. The cafe at the top does some great food. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates some perfect Cornish coast line to wake up to every morning.

What a place!!! Absolutely stunning! Lovely, cosy but modern cottage at the edge of the cliff with lush beach/sea view. This is the second time when I had chance to enjoy delish bbq, morning coffees and evening glass of vine there...and hope not the last :-) 5 min down to the beach. Loved it and just what I needed and more :-) Highly recommended x
