Wundervolles Haus, ausreichend für 2 Familien
Das Haus hat 4 Schlafräume mit Doppelbett und ein Wohnzimmer mit Kamin und eine große Küche. Neben der Küche befindet sich ein Wirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner und eine weitere Toilette. Der Garten ist ebenfalls toll. Wir eine Familie mit 2 Kindern und eine weitere Familie haben uns das Haus geteilt. Die Einrichtung ist gut und die Aufteilung ebenfalls. Cathy, unsere Vermieterin hat sich bereits im Vorfeld super um alles gekümmert und war auch während des Aufenthalts über Nachrichten sehr schnell und unkompliziert zu erreichen. Wenn ich von ein paar Regentagen absehe, dann war es der perfekte Urlaub.
In dem Haus liegen viele Ausflugstipps und hängen Bilder von den besten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das macht Lust auf mehr.

3rd time here
This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this house and looking to book again for next year. A group of us do the Extreme North Quadrathlon which involves 4 marathons in 4 days (Alison and Gill) or 4 half marathons (Steve and Pete). Great House to come back each day to relax and chill before the next day of running. A stones throw away from brill irish pubs and Malin hotel which does fantastic pizza. As soon as we hear the dates for next year we will be booking again

Fab house close to beautiful beaches and stunning scenery
Fab house, very cosy and well equipped. Great location, with stunning scenery and beautiful beaches close by. House was very clean with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Host was very helpful and on hand if we needed anything, with lots of information regarding days out and places of interest. Would highly recommend.

Everything you'd expect in a family home
Well equipped comfortable house. Home from home. Located in a stunning part of County Donegal. A short walk to Malin village (a church, a handful of shops and two pubs). Looking forward to a return visit.

awesome location, clean and close to all attractions
This was a bucket list trip for my 84year old Mum, who had not been back to Malin for 64 years. We had a blast. location was awesome and Kathy's home was perfect, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE THINKS OF GOING

I like to raise few shortcoming during our stay at your house .
1. Not a single toilet paper in the toilets.
2. Shower head of the main bathroom is not working properly.
3. Water is not draining properly in the main shower area.
4. Cleaning in the house was not good. One could feel sand in few places.
5. We couldn't find the BBQ facility in the house.
Overall we will rate 2/5.

Hi Anu, thank you firstly for doing a review. It is very important that we get these reviews especially due to the fact that I am personally not around to monitor the house on a let to let basis. I would like to respond to your comments as follows: 1. There will always be a roll of toilet paper in each toilet for guests to use, it is then up to guests to resupply as and when they need it. 2. The shower in the main bathroom has slow pressure due to outside pressure and this is outside of our control and will be looking at the shower head immediately to see if there is an issue. 3. I apologise for the drainage of the shower, this is cleaned and unblocked on a regular basis and will be looked into straight away. 4. I am surprised that cleaning was an issue as this is my number 1 priority and I will be investigating further. The house is in an area where sand will get in a few places and this is inevitable even with vigilant cleaning. 5. There are no BBQ facilities at the house and if this is stated on the description of the house then this will be rectified immediately. Thank you again for,your review.

Great stay in Malin Head
Cathy’s house was great, comfortable for everyone including kids and babies!
Cathy was on hand if required but fortunately all was in place for us on arrival and during our stay.
The house is in a great, secluded, location and within 5-10mins drive to the Wild Atlantic way!
Would highly recommend for a quiet, relaxed, trip to malin

brilliant home from home
2nd time we have stayed here and it really is a great house/home.
we were doing the Extreme North quadrathon and this was a great place to relax and recharge after each day running.
Owner (Cathy) is always quick to respond to request, we were allowed to access house early. Malin is a 5 min walk away with nice pubs and shop. Malin hotel is closed at the moment but is rumored to be opening again soon so another option for drinking/eating.
very small point, could do with a few bigger pans- cooking 2 different meals (for fussy people LOL) means juggling food between pans and micro wave but apart from that a brilliant house. We will be back

Malin stay
Beautiful Malin house is perfect not to far away from village about 10 minutes walking but if you walk in at night bring a torch. House lovely well equipped modern. No Wi-Fi but wasn't a problem as staying for a wedding so didn't spend long periods in the house. Clean modern.

Quiet location, walking distance to town (5 minutes). Town has all amenities including, Convenience Store, Post Office, Award Winning Organic Butcher, Hotel with bar that serves amazing food, beauticians/hairdressers, take away.
