Location, Location, Location
We stayed in Quay house over October Bank holiday. Such a lovely house. Clean and cozy but the view stole the show. Roundstone is a lovely friendly village and the beaches and scenery are 2nd to none. Hope to return

Beautiful home, great location
The home is very cozy and clean and has a beautiful view. We enjoyed being within walking distance to the pubs and shops in Roundstone. Highly recommend it, hope to visit again!☘

Emplacement unique
Très jolie maison très bien située sur le port de Roundstone. Vue magnifique depuis toutes les fenêtres en façade. Décoration agréable et maison bien équipée. Petits commerces et restaurants tout proches.
En revanche, lits trop mous avec oreillers et couettes en plumes, attention aux allergies (asthme).

Fabulous spot!
We spent 3 nights here with our 8 and 10 year old daughters. Beautiful house with a postcard view. The house itself was spotlessly clean and excellently equipped. Perfect location for exploring Connemara. Look forward to going back.

Beautiful,clean house with exceptional views WOW the views!!!
My wife and I spent are 40th anniversary at Quay House and the accommodation and location in Roundstone was exceptional. The views of the harbor and mountain range, which the view changes daily just awesome. The house is very clean and equipped with everything you would need for a perfect stay, The town of Roundstone is very charming with Pubs and Restaurants within walking distance from Quay House. Anne the owner was very helpful with the workings of the house and points of interest in the area.

Quite Simply the Best Holiday Rental
You could not ask for a better holiday rental. The location on the quay and with the ever changing views outside the window cannot be underestimated. Anne was a most fantastic host right from my first enquiry to meeting me at the house to help our family get settled in.
The kitchen has all appliances that you could ask for and having the open fire made it extra cosy. Oh, last of all.... the beds are the most comfortable I have ever stayed in. Thanks so much, we will be back again soon.

Beautiful, clean and well located house in the heart of Roundstone
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was lovely and comfortable and spotlessly clean right on the pier in the village of Roundstone. The bars and restaurants there are all within a stones throw of the house.
It was an extremely relaxing and I am already looking at dates to return. I would highly recommend it

Wonderful stay
We had a perfect stay at the Quay house in Roundstone. The house is spotlessly clean and the views are breathtaking. The location just doesn't get any better to get a flavour of Connemara. Can't wait to go back!

A little piece of heaven in Roundstone
Beautiful, clean, tranquil house with every home comfort in the wonderful village of Roundstone. Unrivalled views over the harbour and 12 Bens. We just adored it.

Beautiful Location
Australian couple - mid 60’s.
The accommodation is a 3 storey building situated adjacent to the fishing boat pier in the small town of Roundstone. Parking is available on the pier directly in front of the building. There was no problem parking in the winter but it may be a bit different during the main summer tourist season.
The ground floor measures approximately 8 metres x 5 metres and comprises a kitchen - dining area and sitting area (with open fire) and a small utility room. The dining table accommodates 5 chairs. There are extensive views from the picture window in the sitting room area over the fishing boat harbour to the mountains on the adjacent peninsular.
Facilities include a 4 burner gas hot plate, electric oven, microwave, good size fridge and freezer, kettle toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Crockery, cutlery and cooking implements are provided.
There is no toilet on the ground floor. Toilets are in the bathrooms on the 1st floor and 2nd floors.
The WIFI was reliable and fast.
Electricity and heating oil are metered and paid at the end of the rental. Radiators are on each floor.
The 1st floor comprises a main bedroom approximately 5 metres x 3 metres with a large double bed, a smaller room that accommodates two single beds and a bathroom with shower over the bath and a toilet.
The 2nd floor comprises a large bedroom approximately 5 metres x 5 metres and a bathroom with toilet and separate shower cubicle.
There are views over the fishing boat harbour from the main bedrooms on both the 1st and 2nd floors. We occupied the 2nd floor bedroom and enjoyed our morning coffee sitting up in bed looking out over the harbour. Usually we managed 2 or 3 cups whilst enjoying the view.
The water in the shower was hot and the pressure, whilst not great, was adequate for a good shower and washing of hair. A hair dryer was provided. The toilet flushed well. The only off-putting issue was the condition of the grout in the shower cubicle. It was not clean.
There is a small small grocery outlet in the town that provided all the basic supplies. There are large supermarkets in the nearby town of Clifden.
There are 3 bars within a short walk of the accommodation. Each bar had it own personality. It was off season and 2 of the bars were open during the week with all three open on the weekends. Bar meals were available. The main hotel in the town was closed for the winter.
We based ourselves in Roundstone for a week and wagoned-wheeled out from there. There is a lot to see in the surrounding country side. I can recommend the location and the accommodation.
