A lovely homely cottage with a view to die for. Feeling immediately at home. Everything is there to make your stay as comfortable as can be. We loved the garden with all the birds, the deer nearby and the hunting dolphins (every day!) around the Summer Isles. A wonderful base to explore the West coast of the Highlands including the Beach nearby (a real hidden gem).

We returned to Achiltibuie after far too long and it was wonderful to be back among the hills of Coigach and explore the magical coastline. Bruaich Rainich was an added bonus. A lovely comfortable cottage with such a warm feel and real character. Amazing views out across the Summer Isles to the mountains beyond. A well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. So nice to read a bit about the history of the house and the family who lived there. I think we will be back...maybe in better weather!

My family and me got a fantastic holidays in Bruaich Rainich , excelents views everything we need was there and more . We enjoy every single minute in . Very cosy and worm. A well equipped, comfortable cottage. Ideal for two couples or a large family. Great views, the deer visit most days. The cottage is accessible but if you have limited mobility the lovely, roll top Bath with a view could be a problem. We had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay in this sweet cottage. It has a relaxing vibe and everything you need for rainy days if the weather isn't optimal - extensive dvds, board games etc. The view is tremendous and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area- climbing Stac Pollaidh, running the loop around Polbain-Althandu-Achnahaird-Achiltibuie, swimming and sandcastle building at Achnahaird beach and kayaking around the Summer Isles. There's tonnes to do and we saw plenty of wildlife, including following (at a discrete distance) a pod of dolphins on the kayaking trip. Our daughters loved the cottage too and kept commenting on how comfortable the beds were. We all agreed it had the best bathroom view ever... would definitely recommend if you are looking for a no frills, peaceful and beautiful space to unwind and enjoy nature.

What a wonderful home! Stayed for a week and loved it. Weather was pretty ropey - rain most days - but we had an amazing time in the area. Bruiach Rainich was a cosy, comfortable, dog friendly home with unbelievable views of the Summer Isles and a fab garden. Peaceful surroundings, brilliantly well stocked with all sorts of cooking equipment, extra towels, books, games, DVDs, maps and leaflets. Comfy beds and a bath with the best view ever. Some folk might be surprised there's no bath but it made no difference to us and there was always plenty of hot water. No obvious place to dry wet clothes but we managed by using the drying rack and storage heaters. Would definitely recommend the house for a stay. Clean, cosy, peaceful, comfy and situated in a stunning area. And only a mile a half's walk to the fab Fuaran Bar! Thanks!

What a lovely cottage very home from home. It’s not modern it’s a traditional Scottish family home. Every thing you need is there. The views are to die for. If you want to escape the world no wi fi or television signal it’s perfect. The wee mad road is something everyone should drive on.

Bruaich Rainich ist a wonderful cottage that provides everything you need. The view is fabulous. There is a filling station and a little shop very close in Achiltibuie. The mountains in the area are worthy destinations for hikers and photographers. Leave your mobile phone at home and listen to BBC 4 in the cottage in the evening, Christoph

The house has no parking and it would have been good to know this before we arrived. We did park on a driveway opposite but we had two cars as it was two couples staying. There is no shower on the tub bath and it was also leaking. If it wasn’t for the fact that the family hired 3 houses in the area this would have been drastic. It was an inconvenience, especially when hillwalking fishing and jumping in the sea all mean a shower is necessary.

Superb, comfortable and stunning location had a wonderful time with great weather, dogs still tired now 😀
