A retreat from crowded streets and busy life, this property reveals the best that Vermont has to offer. The rustic but comfortable 4 bedroom country home boasts beautiful views of the enveloping hills and welcomes a variety of wildlife throughout the seasons. The main floor features a large primary bedroom with a queen-sized sleigh bed and propane woodstove that provides warmth and atmosphere for a restful sleep on a cold snowy night. The main living space also has a bathroom, newly renovated country kitchen, living room, and dining room with walk out access to a farmer's porch and sundeck. Great Home at Stowe!
This is a great alternative to commercial hotel and
lodge rentals. You get the comfort and privacy of
your own home and still close to activities. All at
a great price! We recommended this place.

A great quiet getaway but close to the mountain.
This was a beautiful spot and a very comfortable house. It was ideal for two to 4 persons but the central living space was a bit small for larger groups. The location was absolutely spectacular and we loved apres ski walks with the dog up to the sugarhouse. Be aware that cell service is very spotty at the house but the wireless works great. Would definitely stay here again.

A bit expensive for small rooms, but close to ski area.
House has 3 small bedrooms, enough to sleep. The one big bedroom has enough space for kids to play, but it is very cold. It was addition to the old portion of the house. Heat is limited to two gas stoves which supposed to heat first and second floor. I'm not too excited to sleep in room with gas stove that turns on and off all night. Living area to relax is limited to a sofa and gas stove. If you want to stay and cook in the kitchen you need to bring some pans and pots. No garage to keep the skis and boots. It has internet and cable TV. Comparing to other houses in the area, the cost is a bit expensive for small house with some limitations. But it is very close to the ski area.

Better than the pictures
Perfect place in the summer for families with kids! Lots of outdoor space, pond, stream in the back and it was clean! I would recommend this place and would def stay there again!

Peaceful, spacious country lodging!
This vacation rental is wonderful! I had heard great things about the location but it exceeded my expectations! There is a lovely, peaceful brook just off the front lawn and a small pond on the other side that attracts small wildlife and birds.
Inside the cabin is extremely spacious! It had everything we needed! Plenty of rooms for a large group and a wonderful large patio where you can relax and even grill out in the evenings. There is also a nice fire pit. We made s'mores and just sat outside to enjoy the peaceful setting. I can't wait to go back!
PS: The location is convenient to Stowe and also some great trails just down the road. And you have to visit the "pie lady" and the maple syrup barn just up the road. These are classic Vermont artisans that make this place so charming!

Great place for families!
Expecting no more than a rustic cabin in the woods, we were pleasantly surprised by this charming country home. Updated kitchen and bath, spacious and spotless. A quiet, peaceful getaway with a bubbling stream and pond. The short walk to a hidden gem of a swimming hole was definitely the highlight of our entire trip! Also a short walk to an authentic sugarhouse which we frequently visited. Wraparound porch and deck for cookouts and relaxing evenings. Upstairs bedrooms got a bit hot in July (no air conditioning), but open windows and fans provided comfort. Beds already made upon arrival, towels and toiletries provided, the spa tub upstairs was very relaxing. Great place and a great trip! We are a family with three kids, a small dog, and were very pleased. A few minor unpleasantries - some windows were broken, the 3rd bedroom upstairs had a very uncomfortable bed, only 1 couch per sitting area/tv, downstairs shower very small.

Loved it! Stayed May 2016 for Norwich University graduation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rustic cabin. It was a lot better than we anticipated! The owner of the cabin has REALLY thought of everything that you might need or forget. Our only complaint would be that the upstairs floors are very creaky and you can hear everything. We had 8 people staying there. However, it wasn't awful and it is tolerable. The house is nicely furnished and the scenery is gorgeous! We loved having the windows open at night listening to the running brook behind the house. We'd stay here again.

Peaceful mountain views
We had a wonderful time at the Falls Brook Camp. The house was everything we needed and we would be happy to return.

Fantastic rental home for family with kids
We chose Stowe/Waterbury as a vacation destination for the abundance of activities in the area. However, the kids in our group ranged in age from 5 to 16 so the activities we planned were not all equally appreciated. The overwhelming favorite thing was simply staying at the house and running around the pond searching for frogs. It was just as well, as I was able to sit on the porch and sip some wine while they entertained themselves. The house itself was very comfortable and clean. We loved the property and the location.
