This beautiful house was conveniently located in the heart of all the Dordogne Valley attractions. Domme is a lovely walled city and the house sits on one of the main squares in Domme. The house has old world charm combined with modern kitchen and bathrooms. It is perfect for two couples traveling together. The hosts are responsive, attentive and are English speaking. This home is located on the original town square in Domme. It works well for two couples. There are plenty of good restaurants within a short walk and unforgettable views are also a short walk away. Domme is centrally located to whatever you want to see in the Dordogne area. The owners are reasonable and very responsive. We had a very good experience with them.

Maison Boyer is one of the best holiday lets we have rented over many years of travelling. It is a house we could happily live in. All the rooms are large and spacious with every need catered for including a welcome pack of essentials on arrival. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped although there are plenty of good restaurants within strolling distance. The bathrooms and showers are great and the living areas very comfortable.The one essential for many people is good wifi connection and unlike a lot of holiday lets in France this house has excellent internet and mobile phone access. There is a small but good supermarket in the main square. The location of the house within the town is spot on. There is a small car park in the square immediately outside the front door but this was never ia problem. The walls are thick and the shutters provide privacy. The car park almost empties at night. We live in the country so would notice any noise. We didn’t. The garden is not overlooked and if you are into hot tubs then you will be more than happy with the one here. The owners, Catriona and Roddy, are delightful, very helpful if you need it and have done a great job of renovating the house to a very high standard. When we return to the Dordogne this will be our first choice for accommodation.

My wife and I have been to the Dordogne valley before, and stayed in some beautiful villages in some beautiful houses, but this one is now at the top of our list. Domme is an amazing village - well-supplied with amenities, and the house was amazingly comfortable. The hosts provided a welcoming gift of the supplies we would need for our arrival and breakfast the next day. We have stayed in many houses where the owners ask or demand that the renters leave the house completely barren of the condiments and spices and coffee and sugar that the renters had to buy after a long drive to get to the house. Not our owners! They also greeted us when we arrived to explain the "workings" of the house, the firebox (which we loved and used every night fueled with wood supplied by our hosts) and the hot tub, which we didn't use but wished we had. We love the Dordogne area, anyway, but spent many days in the beautiful village of Sarlat, and the equally beautiful village of La Roque Gageac, where our favorite restaurant - La Belle Etoile - is located. We also very much enjoyed Lascaux 4 - the re-creation of Lascaux cave and the National Prehistory Museum in Les Eyzies de Tayac. All in all, a great house, a great region, and with great sights and food.

Spacious old house with character, modernized to a high standard. Lovely private patio with a fabulous big hot tub. Generous welcome pack and greeting from Roddy. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped. Contemporary designed bathrooms with walk-in showers. Great location in the centre of Domme with easy traveling to lots of other places along the Dordogne.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night stay in this comfortable property in the heart of Domme. Very welcoming and helpful owners. Excellent restaurants within a minutes walk, we went to Auberge de la Rode, Comptoir D'Annam (Vietnamese), Pizzeria des Rempliers. Although Domme can get busy during the day it was quiet in the evenings when we enjoyed our stroll up to the viewpoint. There is a small supermarket in Domme and a larger supermarket a 5 minute drive away in Cenac. We found Domme to be good base to stay to easily explore this lovely region of France. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and ate all our meals outside in the pretty garden. The house had everything we needed and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

From the moment we were greeted at the door by Roddy, we were in love. The home is very charming and warm. The home was stocked with enough food to get us through lunch, breakfast and snacks, along with a welcome basket and bottle of wine. Everything was immaculate and well appointed. The wifi work well on the main level, although a little weak upstairs and outdoors. There is British and French sattelite tv, which was very welcomed. I cooked several meals in the well appointed kitchen. Every bowl, pot and utensil was available, along with plenty of spices, olive oil and balsamic vinegar and more. A barbecue grill is also available with lovely afresco dining. Roddy and Catrina made themselves available and made sure our needs were well met. We stayed 2 weeks and some friends joined us for 1 of the weeks with their 3 year old. There was plenty of space for all. Very safe for the 3 year old, as she loved going in and out the back yard, which was very secure. The village of Domme is lovely and quiet in the evening. There is a lovely boulangerie and several restaurants right outside the door or a very short walk. Great place to use as a base to visit the region or just hang out and relax.

This is in an excellent location in the centre of Domme,with restaurants and shops nearby. Everything about the house is to a very high standard, the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are modern, and the kitchen very well equipped. The owners have thought of everything holiday makers may need, even to a very generous welcome pack, with wine, beer, milk, juice , water , and bread, butter and cheese which would make a light meal if you were arriving late. Highly recommended

My second visit to this wonderful,charming house. Located right in the heart of Domme and central to so many great tourist attractions and historic venues it’s hard to beat. The house is very well appointed with superb attention to detail. All the rooms are spacious but welcoming and the finishes reflect the owners desire to please. The jacuzzi is a great luxury which I’d encourage anyone who stays to indulge in at all times of the day (or year!). Great wi-fi and all mod cons make this the perfect location to stay in the area. Just book it!

This house is located in the centre of the village of Domme which is a major tourist attraction during the summer months. It is a village I have visited several times during the summer but this visit took place a Christmas. One of the best decisions I have made as the Dordogne and especially Domme is quieter. Parking is easier and largely free. Roads are less crowded and villages and historic sites much more accessible. True some of the smaller sites are closed but the 'must do' sites are open and you will have them to yourself. Maison Boyer is perfectly equipped for living at the house The house is centrally heated with an added bonus of a wood burner in the lounge with a copious supply of logs. With the house there is a Jacuzzi. This is a must even with winter temperatures. Christmas Day evening, after a beautiful sunny day was rounded off in the Jacuzzi with water at 39 decrees. Watching the moon rising, counting the stars and drinking champagne - how romantic is that? We had a wonderful welcome to the house with some supplies and even a decorated Christmas Tree. Catriona could not have done more to make our stay special and I cannot recommend this house highly enough. You will find Maison Boyer perfect for a magical holiday at any time of the year even, as we found, during the winter months.
