Perfect location
A fabulous house in a superb location. House very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Short walk into centre lovely restaurants, elegant shops and daily market. Very photogenic harbour.

Excellent hours, wonderful location
Our family spent a wonderful Easter week at this beautiful house. The location is excellent, next to a beach and a short walk to the town for restaurants and the local market. We spent the whole week exploring the Island with our children by bike. It is an Island of great variety with things to do for all the family. The house is very well equipped and has everything you need without being cluttered. The garden is also beautiful. We hope to return!

Delightful house and gardens overlooking the sea
We stayed for two weeks at 2 rue de la Cote, and we highly recommend this beautiful house on the Ile de Re. The house is spacious with a large living/dining room area perfect for family gatherings -- we have 5 children and it felt roomy. From the windows, you have a magnificent view of the sea just across the road. The garden surrounds the house on three sides and there are many lawn chairs and a wonderful hammock, meaning that there is a place for everyone to escape to. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a well-stocked games cupboard/bookcase. The village of La Flotte is a 5 minute walk with free events/concerts every night when we were there. There is a fabulous sail school a 2 minute walk from the house and in the first week 3 of our children learned to windsurf. In the second week we went to the beach at Gros Junc on the other side of the island because the waves were bigger -- but it was only a 10 minute drive and a 20 minute bike ride; my husband and daughter learned how to sail a catamaran there. The owners are helpful and have provided a thorough (and entertaining) guide to the house and island. Overall, it was a fabulous vacation -- one of the best we have ever had.

Excellent stay in La Flotte
Had a great holiday in La Flotte and will be staying here again! :)
The house was spacious & in a good location. The ile de re is a great place to visit. We were able to bring our dog too.

très bien
Maison très bien située, bien équipée, tout confort.
Seul bémol en pleine saison, la route passante et bruyante pour déjeuner et bouquiner dans le jardin.

Fantastic holiday home
Our 2nd stay with 2 daughters, husbands and 2 toddler grandsons. Our favourite holiday home, we all just love it here. Clean comfortable and very spacious. Beautiful terrace and gardens overlooking the sea. Perfect location within walking distance to the restaurants and amazing daily market. Can't wait to return again next year!

Superb house and location.
This our 4th stay at 2 Rue de La Cote, it is a lovely house very well equipped and perfect location for exploring the island. Only a 5min walk to the daily market, shops, restaurants and bars in La Flotte it could not get any better. The garden is beautifully kept and great for relaxing also superb terrace for dining and bbq.

Beautiful home and great location
This was the second time we have stayed at rue de la cote and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful home close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone trying the ile de re for the first time.

A very relaxing stay in a beautiful house
We stayed for a week during the Easter break in this really beautiful house situated at a walking distance to La Flotte's village centre. The house is very clean throughout, very well equipped and finished to a very high standard. The garden is beautiful and, together with the sun terrace, is a fantastic place to relax. We had 2 treats every morning; the views to the sea from the windows when opening the shutters and being able to walk to the village to get croissants and fresh bread. We loved the wood burner in the lounge, particularly as the days were still a bit fresh. L'Ile de Re is a beautiful island to explore by car, bike or on foot. We loved La Flotte's medieval market, Saint Martin en Re, its restaurants and the Vauban fortifications, and finally the Light House. All in all a truly memorable stay. Merci!

Ile de Re - the perfect French beach holiday
The house is perfectly situated only a few minutes walk from the local marche and centre of town. The ocean and sailing school are right across the street and there are a ton of nearby restaurants fit for couples or the entire family. This location is definitely hard to beat!
You can happily relax in the large garden of the house, which offers privacy from passers by on the street and has a nice outdoor patio for al fresco dining. This was our first time renting a car in the Ile de Re and you can easily find your way on the roads to a variety of gorgeous local beaches if you're not a keen cyclist.
Whether you are travelling in a large group, family or as a couple, the house is clean, comfortable and perfectly located for a memorable holiday. We will definitely recommend this house to friends interested in visiting the island.

There are 3 bedrooms each with 2 beds and the maximum of 8 persons is based on the double sofa bed in the Sitting Room being used. Please contact the owners for rates for nightly or weekends (which are not normally available in the summer). Rates are provisional and may be changed at the advertisers discretion. We can accept payment in Sterling or in Euro by electronic transfer.
