Studio déjà connu et utilisé avec plaisir. Excellente situation. Décoré avec soin. Quelques équipements à renouveler sans tarder: étendage cassé, essoreuse endommagée, poèle hors d’usage, literie principale «  limite ». Ce serait dommage de laisser cette location passer dans la catégorie inférieure! Si vigilance, nous reviendrions volontiers!

Il est vrai. Le studio est niquel. Impeccable pour un bon séjour et extrêmement bien situé. Nous sommes vraiment heureux du séjour. Mais un rideau occultant sur la porte serait un atout. Et un matelas correct aussi. Dormir sur un matelas peu epais et uniquement fait de ressort nous a donné quelques mal de dos. A part cela le détour en vaut la peine !

This holiday could not have been better, from the service and courtesy shown by Brittany Ferrries, the ease the French motorways got us from Roscoff to the Island and then to find the little gem that is Studio des Ormes. Lets be clear, this is not a penthouse suite at the Ritz, what is is though is a tastefully decorated very clean ideally located base to explore the island. We would have no hesitation in either recommending or booking again.

Très bon séjour dans cet appartement agréable, bien équipé et très bien situé, dans une ruelle de charme tout près du port. Tous services, commerces, marché, loueurs de vélos, restos, à proximité. Une belle adresse.

What a lovely,peaceful studio. So bright and well equipped. Sue the owner was very helpful.Very spacious. The location was excellent. We were yards from Boulangerie for fresh croissants in the morning. There was a lovely medieval market just yards away,open every morning. The road we were in was very quiet away from the hustle and bustle. There are plenty of restaurants in La Flotte and lovely walks to the Abbey and Fort. There is also a Carrefour nearby. Also the beach is ideal and safe. Everywhere is very flat for easy cycling and walking. In the studio there is no tv or music which for people like us who wanted to just chill and get away from it all was ideal. We travelled there by train from Ebbsfleet to La Rochelle and then got the bus which was a very relaxing way to travel. I would thoroughly recommend the studio and La Flotte.

A very well equipped apartment in a great location. Cute and cosy and ideal for exploring the beautiful island. We cycled everywhere and had the loveliest, relaxed week.

Studio idéalement situé dans le joli port de la Flotte, au cœur des petites ruelles commerçantes, à deux pas du marché quotidien, du port, des locations de vélo, et proche de la plage également. Très bien équipé et spacieux, il est tout à fait charmant, idéal pour un couple mais de la place pour quatre. Nous y avons passé une semaine très agréable et y retournerons avec plaisir. Je le recommande vivement. Merci à Sue et Catherine pour leur accueil et leur conseils pour notre séjour sur l'île de Ré.

If you have ever dreamed of living in the centre of a tiny fishing village on an island - with a boulangerie a hundred or so metres in one direction, and one of the most beautiful markets in all of France a hundred or so metres in another direction, not to mention a host of restaurants on the seafront scarcely further away, then this could be the studio for you. It is small, part of an old house in a beautifully untouched lane of houses in La Flotte. It is just perfect for two people, simply and elegantly decorated, and very comfortably furnished. There is no garden, but you you don’t need one - just take your book, or a sandwich freshly made from the market, and go and sit on the seafront. Speaking of books, there is a good selection to choose from in the studio. It’s a perfect base for exploring the whole of Ile de Re, whether by bike or on foot. A place to return to.

Situated in a typical old French lane with hollyhocks and lavender. We had a wonderful time here - we hired bikes and also used the terrific bus service to go to the top of the island. The fare is ONE EURO and you can use the ticket all day as long as you don't go to the mainland. Helpful owner and the studio has a very homely feel to it. We will visit again.
