STUNNING VILLA IN PERFECT LOCATION
My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful 3 week stay in this beautiful traditional Spanish villa. The location is perfect sitting equidistant between Nerja and Frigiliana in the very quiet area of Cortijo San Rafael. Externally the villa sits in large beautifully maintained gardens with a barbecue and seating area under the shade of a pergola. The pool is bigger than normal suitable for a good swim and from the expansive terrace there are fantastic views up to the village and mountains as well as down to the sea and Nerja. There are additional seating areas and it is possible to walk right round the villa. Shaded car parking is provided under a very old algarrobo tree at the front of the house. Internally the villas is furnished to a high standard with air con available in all rooms. A specious lounge and formal dining area are connected to the modern well equipped modern kitchen by a further “breakfast room”. The master bedroom has a very large bed, en-suite shower and WC with large patio doors that open out onto a breakfast terrace. The second bedroom has twin beds with access to a seperate full bathroom with shower. Good quality WiFi is also provided with connection available throughout the property. On arrival we found a very large welcome pack including wine and beer which was great fully received as we did not need to rush out to the Supermarket. A weekly linen change was provide including bath and pool towels.The owners Rosario and Javier are just fantastic visiting to ensure everything was in order and go out their with with recommendations to enjoy your stay but are not intrusive in any way. We can not recommend this Villa highly enough suitable for a small family or 2 couples it is idyllic.

Wow!
We have now stayed in 3 of Javier and Rosario's properties. Hazilla de Raya is definitely the jewel in the crown (each of the other properties being smaller jewels!). It is a large, family sized property with lots of traditional features - large wooden doors, fireplace etc. The garden is so beautiful and filled with lots of colourful plants. The pool is a great size and gives you lovely views over the surrounding mountains, Frigiliana and down the sea. The property is equipped to a very high standard. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. Combined with the tranquility of the location, it's a perfect "get away from it all" villa. It is well situated, within easy walking/public transport distance of Frigiliana and Nerja. Malaga and Granada are within easy driving distance. Javier and Rosario have been, as always, the perfect hosts. It's always lovely to see them. They make us feel so welcome and as if nothing is ever too much trouble. We are already looking forward to our next visit! :-)

Wonderful Villa!
We stayed in this beautiful villa for 3 months and arrived to a lovely welcome pack and roaring log fire. The property has everything that you would need and was perfect for our dog, Freddie. There are beautiful gardens and surrounding views of the hills and sea. The villa is well-equipped with all of the usual kitchen appliances, AC throughout and a great shower and bathroom - a real home from home! Javier and Rosario are perfect hosts and made us feel part of the family! We can't wait to return next year! Thank you again to Javier and Rosario and love to all of your family.

Urlaub wie bei Freunden
Das Haus ist wirklich sehr Schönbrunn gepflegt mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick in Richtung Frigiliana und Richtung Nerja-Küste. Der Poolbereich ist wunderschön, gepflegt und sauber. Der Außenbereich, bestehend aus einem sehr schön angelegten Garten, Fischteich, „neu“ überdachten Terasse mit Esstisch, Top-Barbeque mit Waschbecken, lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Javier, der Vermieter, ist sehr herzlich und nett und steht immer für alle Belange zur Verfügung. Wir kommen gerne wieder !!

Stay here
Great place to stay , large private pool , beautiful garden and everything you need inside and out. A.C. in bedrooms perfect. Javier who met us at the property was very helpful. Would of stayed there again but it is always booked, but we WILL go back ps don't forget to feed the fish

Sehr empfehlenswert!
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Die Finca ist sehr praktisch und liebevoll eingerichtet und hat einen sehr schön angelegten und gepflegten Garten. Der Pool ist groß und sauber und wurde intensiv genutzt. Der Blick auf Nerja und das Meer ist Klasse. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Wonderful Spanish villa
We have stayed in this fantastic house since we fell in love with it about 15 years ago. We have seen the improvements that the owners Javier and Rosario have made over the years. Private and quiet but close enough to Frigiliana and Nerja for amenities for a very relaxing holiday.

Superb property in great location for everything
Javier and Rosario are the perfect hosts. This is a superb villa to rent with lots of outdoor spaces, a great well sized pool and super views. Midway between Nerja and Frigiliana it could not be better placed. Been 3 times and I am sure we will be back. Super for a small family or a couple.

Erholsame Urlaubstage in toller Lokation
Wir haben in einem bemerkenswert schönen Ferienhaus unseren Urlaub verbracht. Ein besonders liebevoll angelegter Garten mit schönem Grillplatz, sowie ein sehr grosszügiger Pool haben uns das Wohlfühlen sehr leicht gemacht. Wir haben von hier aus viele spannende Ausflüge gemacht, da es in der Nähe vieles zu sehen gibt. Frigilliana, die Höhlen von Nerja, Wanderung im Flussbett und Granada sind wunderschöne Ausflugsziele.

Great Villa in beautiful grounds
Good location but a car is needed. Javier was on hand to greet us when we arrived to make sure everything was OK. The welcome pack of food and drink in the fantastic equipped kitchen was a nice surprise and saved us the usual rush to the shops. The inside of the villa was immaculate and even stay reasonably cool without the A.C. The pool was bigger than average and had great sunbeds with cushions.The outside seating/ eating areas were great along with the bbq. Overall the attention to detail eg. pool towels , good quality crockery, kitchen cleaning essentials and the welcome pack made this villa better than most. ps When strolling around the gorgeous gardens remember to feed this fish Thanks again Javier and Rosario
