This 2-story, 2+ bedroom, 1-bath, real log family home is the quintessential lake front cabin! The first floor features an open living/dining/kitchen floor plan with a wood stove (firewood provided) and a gas stove, one bedroom with 1-full sized bed, a second bedroom with 1-full sized bed, and a 3/4 bath, as well as a mud room with a stack washer/dryer. Very pleased with overall rental. We were there for 4 days with 4 adults and 2 children. Highly recommended.

Serene, beautiful views
Cozy little cabin, very secluded with a wonderful view of Silver Lake. We could sit on the deck for hours and just take in the scenery. The dock was perfect for an afternoon swim. The bedrooms were tiny but comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, but honestly- no salt, pepper or cooking oil?? That seems pretty basic to me. I have stayed at a lot of VRBOs, but never one that didn't supply those simple items. For some reason, this site would only allow me to rate this property with 5 stars- no other options! I would have given it 4 if only because the directions to the cabin were so bad. After driving up and down the road several times we finally gave up and went back to the rental office and they had to lead us. The directions should have said that the house numbers were completely out of sequence and we needed to drive all the way to the end of the road. Pretty frustrating, but once we were there, we loved it.

Thank you for your review for Cabin #97! We are very pleased to hear that you had an enjoyable stay. We completely agree with "sitting on the deck for hours". When prepping the cabin, we often take our lunch with us so that we can sit on the deck and take in the scenery...so beautiful! Per the information packet sent to you in conjunction with your reservation confirmation, local health department regulations restrict us from providing any form of "food product consumables" (including spices and condiments). We send this information well in advance, so that our Guests can prepare accordingly. We are sorry that you didn't take the time to read it. The map with directions that we provide is very specific, but you have to pay careful attention to the verbiage. The cabin is somewhat remote...part of the charm, but can be a bit of a challenge when the directions are not closely followed. We can't post signs on other people's property. That being said, the cabin is reserved practically every weekend during the busy summer and winter rental seasons, and we typically do not receive commentary regarding Guest's inability to find the cabin. Many thanks for the respectful way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again the next time that your travel plans bring you our way :) Happy trails, Dan
