This beautiful, quiet getaway is ten minutes from downtown Silver City, and five minutes from the highway. There are great hiking trails from the property and the Continental Divide trail is a ten minute drive away. Deer, quail, rabbits and birds are visible through the bedroom's large picture windows. The bedroom has Mexican mirror and rug, a king sized bed and a window seat that folds out into a single sofa bed. The foyer has a queen sized sofa bed, Mexican rugs and mirror.
Only drawback is that the people sleeping in the bedroom would need to walk through the foyer past whomever might be sleeping on that sofa bed in order to access the bathroom.
The dining area is surrounded by windows with mountain views. The bathroom has a shower bath and two Mexican sinks. The property is equippe...

Loved the setting and the roomy, comfortable, very attractive accommodations!
This quiet rural location just outside of Silver City was ideal for us! The grounds are highlighted by the picturesque setting which includes a hot tub and multiple bird feeders that attract wildlife and birds. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable with polished wood floors and southwest furnishings. Even though the owner lives in this unit when it is not rented, it did not have an uncomfortably ‘lived-in’ feeling. The only surprise was occasionally hearing the ‘right next door’ conversations from the unit that shares a wall - but other patrons were considerate, as we were. Really enjoyed that we could hike right out the back door and also enjoyed other hikes nearby recommended by the owner. We also enjoyed visits (at our choosing) from the owners 2 very mellow dogs. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Very reasonable for the great accommodation!
