SO DISAPPOINTED - BEWARE
I was very impressed by the location photos and interior photos of this home. There are some things though that the description leaves out. One of them being that you are renting only the bottom level and there is another person renting above you. There seems to be some issue with improper insulation as you can hear EVERYTHING the person above you is doing at all hours. Secondly the floors were disgusting. You could not walk without shoes. I am not sure if the problem was the bare floors or the small carpets but something was nasty and needed to be cleaned. THIRD and worst issue. We left the home immaculate when we departed. Even bagged all trash, cleaned up entirely after ourselves, took care to leave everything as we found it. About two days after departing I start getting calls that we cracked one of the sinks in the bathrooms and they would need to keep $100 of our damage deposit. I was sent one blurry undated photo of a hairline crack in a sink. I was given no other info other than they were keeping our money. Despite numerous back and forth communication (sometimes weeks apart) they have now kept all $200 of our damage deposit despite claiming to need only $100. We didn't crack the sink and have no idea how it happened. The issue with this is it's your word against theirs, and unless I were to have a photo of every sink on departure I have no evidence. Did the cleaning crew do it? We will never know. I am now out $200 though for something I am not responsible for. I have no issue paying for something if it was indeed our fault, however we had all adults and grown children staying in the home. NO ONE CRACKED A SINK. It's a shame that our stay ended this way and we will never rent from this company again and will continue to warn others of the deceptive practices.
