Great stay at Naturehawks Villa and Safari
Natyrehawks has great accomodation a short drive from Yala. I stayed at the house by the lake not the normal villa, so no pool but a much better view. Everyone was very welcoming and food and accomadation were excellent.
Chamith was an excellent host and is great as a guide.
His local knowledge and keen eyesight made for 2 very interesting safaris with some great pictures, apart from the leopard that we missed by a couple of minutes.Having a dedicated guide and the ability to stop wherever you want and stay as long as you need is a great asset especially if like me you are trying to get photographs. His driver is also very experienced so often spots things that would otherwise be missed.
I hope to return to Sri Lanka on buisiness and will definately consider staying at Naturehawks again, although probably for at least 2 nights.
If you are a serious photographer and you are fed up being stuck in a vehicle and not getting your shots, this is definately a really good option.

Excellent wildlife experience
We had a fantastic couple of days exploring Yala in morning and evening jeep safaris. Chamith knows Yala like the back of his hand, ensures you will escape the crowds, and is a very knowledgable naturalist. As we were focusing on birds, his driver was also a real asset, helping us stop in time to get great looks at a number of tricky species. If you want to get the most out of Yala's wildlife, Naturehawks are the team you should go with.

Wonderful
The area where this villa is located is primarily used for the several national parks. We chose Naturehawks villa (formerly known as The Monarch) because of the seemingly balance between quality and price.
Our stay appeared to be an surprisingly luxurious experience. When we arrived we were welcomed with refreshing towels and delicious fresh juices. We had the villa for ourselves so that included the swimming pool. The rooms and bathroom were clean and convenient with A/C, fridge and a mini bar.
The buffer zone of Yala national park is nearby, that’s why there are a lot of mosquitoes in the whole area. But the host provided various precautions to keep the mosquitoes successfully out of the rooms.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They constantly gave us the feeling that we were VIPs.
The food was delicious and all the complimentary wishes (mainly for our two young children) were provided.
The host, Chamith, is also a very passionate Tourguide for the national parks. Because of him we had a very interesting safari-tour. He explained us everything there is to know about the park and the animals who live there (his English was better than ours). Although Yala is the most touristic park in Sri Lanka, Chamith was able to give us the feeling like we were the only ones in the park.
So in conclusion we definitely recommend this villa to everyone who wants to have a unique, luxurious and affordable stay combined with a wonderful safari.

Wonderful wonderful stay
This place is a beautiful and relaxing haven. This spacious domain was more than accomodating and catered for our each and every need. The owner personally arranged the safari tours which were breath-taking and a must do for all nature lovers. Amazing set up!!! Wonderful friendly staff made our stay very special.
Coming back soon.

Exploring Yala with Naturehawks
We came to Sri Lanka for vacation and Naturehawks was recommended by our travel agent. It was by far the best experience we had during our stay.
Our whole family loves nature and safaris with Naturehawks made us understand a lot about animals, their behaviors and habitats. The naturalist had loads of information for us and we even got to know a lot about animal poop and kids loved it. We got the entire villa for us and spending time in the pool surrounded by trees was a new experience. The staff was friendly and always wanted to give us something special and we loved it. I would for sure visit Naturehawks again if I come to Sri Lanka! Good luck!

Amazing Safari !! Nice Villa!!
I got a change to go this place during my business trip. Entire service is very professional. Nice villa to relaxing and they make delicious foods. Safari was unique and fantastic than other safaris.
I recommend this place for others since this is totally worth for the price !!!
