We stayed for six nights in Villamira and we really enjoyed the timer in this beautiful accommodation! The property is located above the village of Malia on a low hillslope with an amazing view over Malia and the sea and of course the surrounding scenery. The rooms were cleaned perfectly and are offering enough space to store all your belongings. The terrace is spacious and you have a direct view on the wonderful pool. It allows you to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun or to have a glass of wine when the sun goes down – and silence is all around you. The perfect place to relax! The fantastic hosts Stelios and Marie gave us a warm welcome and were outstanding friendly and supportive. They provided us fresh grapes and homemade olive oil as well as fig jam. They will also support you with helpful tips e.g. restaurants or activities in Malia and the villages around to experience the authentic Cretan lifestyle. We would like to thank Stelios and Marie for our pleasant time and we would like to recommend to stay in Villamira!

Siamo stati in questa struttura a fine luglio e devo dire che ci siamo trovati bene. I padroni di casa si sono rivelati molto disponibili nonostante ci fosse stato un piccolo problema proprio al nostro arrivo. Vi consiglio di chiamare Marie al telefono una mezz'ora prima del vostro arrivo perché quando ci siamo stati noi non le funzionava il citofono. Marie si è rivelata un vero portento e una persona estremamente disponibile e affettuosa. La location è fantastica e L'appartamento è super moderno. Si trova in un punto molto alto della montagna quasi a picco. Infatti la prima volta che siamo arrivati abbiamo dovuto prendere la rincorsa con la macchina. Gli appartamenti affacciano tutti su un bellissimo giardino con piscina, ideale per rilassarsi dopo le giornate passate a camminare in giro per siti archeologici. Tutto perfettamente funzionante. Lati negativi: purtroppo la superstrada passa a circa un km e quindi nonostante l'altitudine arriva il rumore e molto spesso, a seconda del vento, anche i rumori di Malya che con le sue discoteche ci ha fatto ricordare i tempi andati.

Villamura consists of 6 comfortable, immaculate apartments all with 120degree sea view, situated on a great site with flowers,scrubs, lawns and pool neatly kept by the site gardener. All the apartments have a large balcony with table and 4 chairs overlooking the 10x15 mtr pristeen pool Apartments have twice weekly maid service and sheet change and have all needed to sleep, cook and relax in comfort The owners ,who live on site could not have been more helpful for our every need, they even drove down to the town at midnight to show us the way to thier pretty property on arrival and laid on an amazing breakfast next morning [maybe not for all guests!! ] One thing to think about is the very steep and bumpy aproach road [800 mtr ] but our Jet2 hire car, a little Hyundi Atmos, carried us two 'heavies' up there no problems !!! La Crete un petit coin de paradis... Du haut de sa montagne avec sa vue surprenante sur Malia Villamira est la cerise sur le gâteau du paradis! Un endroit où le calme règne, nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Marie-reine (même au milieu de la nuit). Un appartement très propre, fonctionnel, une terrasse qui offre une vue sur la piscine, que demander de plus? Tout est parfait! Marié-reine et Stelios des propriétaires discrets mais toujours disponibles et plein de bons conseils pour nous guider vers de merveilleux endroits. Mille merci pour nous avoir fait découvrir la gastronomie crétoise notamment lors de la fête du 15 août à Mohos ou chez Madame Hélène nous avons mangé comme des rois! Nous sommes repartis le cœur lourd avec des souvenirs plein la tête... Merci pour ces merveilleuses vacances! Ines et Bilal

Speriamo proprio di tornarci...persone fantastiche accoglienti,Stelios e Marie..sembrava di essere in famiglia, ospitali,ci hanno aspettato per le quattro del mattino e la colazione poi, un invito a cena. ..Il posto spettacolare con il suo panorama in alto sul mare la pace il silenzio...che dormite..La casa molto pulita e funzionale in tutto

Outre l'accueil hyper chaleureux des propriétaires, nous avons passé un séjour idyllique : gastronomie, visites de sites, bord de mer. l'appartement n° 3 que nous occupions offrait une vue sur la ville et la mer dans le calme et la sérénité totale. La piscine offre, aux heures chaudes, un refuge de premier ordre. Tout est fait pour se ressourcer. Donc, de la gentillesse, de la disponibilité de la part des hôtes et un appartement bien équipé, climatisé, tout cela a contribué à nous faire passer un séjour de rêve.

Des notre arrivee en fin de soirée nous avons decouvert sur la terrasse de l'appartement n°4 une splendide vue à 180° sur la plaine, la ville de Malia et la mer. La douceur du lieu vous transporte immediatement, ajouté au formidable accueil de nos hôtes, dans un autre monde celui des vacances. L'appartement d'une propreté remarquable (climatisé) donne sur une magnifique piscine, une chambre independante avec un grand lit jouxte une cuisine équipé. Nous remercions encore nos hôtes( parfaitement francophone) qui sont devenus nos amis de nous avoir reçu pendant cette dizaine de jour avec tant de gentillesse, nous avons suivi leurs conseils touristiques et gastronomiques qui se sont toujours révélés excellents. Il nous ont fait aimer la Crète. Nous reviendrons.

We rented out all 6 apartments for a large group of 15 which was more than enough space for all of us. The rooms were very clean when we first arrived with fresh fruit placed on the tables which was a nice welcoming gift as plane journies can leave you quite deprived of fresh food! The owners were very helpful before and during the stay, especially as they live just next to the villa and even gave us fresh figs during the week. We found that the house was very high up the hills which gives the beautiful views but it meant that it was inconvenient to get to the supermarket and town centre but this was not a problem as we asked the owners to rent minibuses for us all to travel in. All in all we had a great week staying at Villamira

We are from Sand Diego, California. We just got back from our trip, and looking back it was amazing! The apartment that we rented was very clean, it also had a spectacular view! It was very quiet and peaceful, at night you could hear crickets. The bakery and bank were 5 minutes from our apartment. The owners from whom we rented the apartment were very welcoming and helpful! They invited us over for breakfast and coffee the first day! They told us the must see sites in Crete! They helped us arrange a ferry ride to Santorini. They also booked dental appointments for us. They helped exchange our rent a car. They even took us out to an amazing dinner! We would definitely recommend this to everyone!! And we would definitely come back and stay at the same apartment!! Crete is an amazing island full of amazing sites!

Comment ne pas apprécier ce petit coin de paradis dans le calme et la sérénité. Avec un accueil chaleureux et bienveillant. Tout est mis en oeuvre pour que l'on s'y sente bien. Propreté irréprochable de l'appartement avec tout ce qu'il faut au quotidien sans oublier les délicieux repas confectionnés par Marie-reine et Stelios ainsi que tous les bons conseils sur les visites et les restaurants typiques des alentours.
