Ideal location
We stayed in Casa dei limoni for 13 nights. When we arrived everything was explained very clearly. The villa was very clean and there was a new gas barbecue for our use. The pool was immacuate and for most of the holiday we had it to ourselves. We were able to visit sights from the villa without too much travelling time. Would certainly suggest as a good base for a holiday.

Excellent self catering accommodation, perfect for exploring Puglia

Family holiday.
Saverio and Antonella were charming hosts, accommodated all our needs and quite literally nothing was too much trouble. Including booking restaurants and here Saverio’s recommendation of ‘I Templari’ was simply inspired. What a meal!!
But for not actually sleeping in their house, we might just as well have been Family. Its how we felt in close proximity and sharing their lovely garden where the pool is located. An abundance of fresh figs and other fruits we were invited to pick as required.
Casa dei limoni was clean and tidy but the BBQ has seen better days and needs replacing. Particularly as there is no oven in the kitchen.
As in the UK, Puglia experienced some extreme weather this summer (2018) so mosquitos were an issue but in the countryside I guess it comes with the territory. However, this weather also highlighted the general lack of air circulating in the property, especially in the bathroom where there were no windows, and the extractor fan struggled to cope with the damp generated by four adults going through the shower each morning. The shower itself though was excellent!
Air con worked as needed as did the WiFi but don't expect uninterrupted connections as, again, you're in the countryside and the property's thick stone walls don't allow too much signal to get through.
All in all a great base from which to explore Puglia and have access to the sea / beach. If you do decide to rent you should not be disappointed.

Thank you very much for your review we are happy for your nice holiday. About WiFi we improve it. From this September we installed a satellit system where all our guests can connect. We are using it and is very fast, useful and illimitated. So with this technology we resolved this problem. The BBQ is a standard line for holiday home. Casa dei limoni has many windows with a mosquito curtain for a good air circulation. We are installing a mosquito curtain on the main door so the guests could leave open it. Thank you for your advice we want always improve our services.

Beautiful location in the countryside
This villa is about 10 minutes drive from Martina Franca down a rather narrow, winding country road. The accommodation is very well maintained with a large, shared pool. The villa is well equipped and Saverio was helpful and friendly. It is a very peaceful location with the small, but interesting town of Martina Franca nearby.

Total peace and tranquility
We stayed with our two teenage daughters 18 and 16 for 10 days and had a fantastic holiday.
The cottage was very clean, well equipped with a lovely terrace and barbecue for Al Fresco dining. The pool was gorgeous, very large, warm with lovely sun beds and beautiful shrubs and plants around it. The weather was fantastic and we visited many lovely places both in the day and in the evening. The local town Martina Franca is buzzing at night with plenty of lovely bars and restaurants. We would definitely visit this beautiful area again, and if you are looking for total relaxation stay at Casa die Limoni, we were very sad to leave. The Taylor family,

a lovely well kept villa and a lovely location
The villa is located in a beautiful tranquil countryside location far enough away from the bustle of Martina Franca to be quiet and private but close enough for access to the town but a car is essential. We congratulate the owners for creating such a lovely peaceful haven, well presented with good facilities.

Eine Wunderbare Unterkunft würden jederzeit wiederkommen
Uns hat die Unterkunft mit der ganzen Umgebung incl. Poolanlage sehr gut gefallen.Die Vermieter waren immer sehr freundlich und höflich, wir bekamen zwischendurch immer wieder Obst und Gemüse von den eigenen Bäumen und Garten. Es ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die nächste größere Stadt (Martina Franca) ist ca. 6 km entfernt, daher benötigt man unbedingt ein Auto. Es war ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub, vorausgesetzt man liebt die Abgeschiedenheit. Zum nächstgelegenen Meer ist man mind. 30min.unterwegs.

Great accommodation, very relaxing, ideal for exploring the area!
We stayed for 10 days in 'Casa Degli Ulivi' which was well presented, very clean and well equipped especially the thoughtful things such as a hairdryer and beach umbrella. The terrace was full of plants and flowers and was a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine in the evening. The gardens and pool area were beautifully maintained & although the other accommodation is close by, it is set out in such a way that you feel you are private. Throughout the booking process Antonio was professional and easy to deal with, he greeted us when we got there and was extremely helpful and informative about the local area and where to go. Martina Franca is about 7 minutes away, with all the amenities you require. It is quite a bustling town with beautiful architecture and a great place just to wander in the evenings. Overall, this is a great location to explore as you are a maximum of 40 minutes to the coast and towns such as Cisternino and Ostuni.

Six days is not enough
This is a perfect place to stay in Valle D'itria, for the trulli, in a beautiful landscape of wildflower meadows and olive groves. Il Borgo delle Querce is located just outside of Martina Franca, it has four separate apartments, all private, not large but perfectly formed. I was shown all of them, and they were lovely, furnished simply but with good taste. Ours was situated facing a large, well maintained fruit orchard, with red poppies flowering at the distance. The gardens are beautiful and the swimming pool area a delight.
Martina Franca seemed to be just a typical Italian town with adequate facilities, till you see the historic centre, with its baroque buildings. It also has a lively market on Wednesdays. There is so much to see within easy driving distance from the villas, Alberobello for the trulli, Cisternino for lovely restaurants, white city of Ostuni and Castellana Grotte for the best caves our lot had seen. An hour's drive away is Matera, famous for its cave dwellings and one of the top sites to see in Italy according to the Rough Guide. We ran out of time to visit Lecce - six days really is not enough time to stay in this lovely area.
Il Borgo delle Querce is a well maintained, beautiful complex, with the owners keen to provide a memorable holiday experience. From the initial booking everything went smoothly and we had such a great time. Our thanks to Salerio, Antonella and the rest of the family.

Spettacolare accoglienza
Siamo stati una settimana ad agosto con una coppia di amici ed è stata una vacanza meravigliosa.
Il posto è bellissimo immerso nel verde con tutti i confort (piscina e jacuzzi, bici in uso gratuito, parcheggio privato) la casa/masseria che ci ha ospitati è arredata con indiscutibile gusto immagino della padrona di casa e che mi piace descrivere come shabby chic.
Già l'accoglienza è stata spettacolare: cesto di benvenuto (olio, taralli, vino e frutta merita un sacco di punti) e padroni di casa gentilissimi e sempre ma dico proprio sempre presenti e disponibili.
Noi abbiamo utilizzato la casa come base per varie escursioni infatti si è praticamente a un'ora da tutto (Matera, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Lecce, Taranto, Riserva naturale di Torre Guaceto, Ostuni) e di cose belle da vedere, ve lo assicuro, ce ne sono tantissime, godendoci poi al ritorno il meritato relax in piscina o in jacuzzi a quattro assolutamente rigenerante.
La casa è dotata di tutti i confort (asciugacapelli e addirittura le candele alla citronella utilissime) soprattutto per sfruttare il bellissimo patio predisposto anche per le grigliate e per mangiare fuori.
Insomma è stata una vacanza meravigliosa che consiglierei a tutti, sia a quelli come noi che vogliono vedere tante cose, sia a quelli che vogliono rilassarsi e non pensare a nulla. Un posto insomma per tutti i gusti.
