The chalet was spacious enough to accommodate two families for a week of skiing, allowing everyone space, but also sufficient seating for large meals together. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, and the chalet had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Communication before arrival was also excellent. Echo that the car was vital for travelling to the slopes every day, we opted for ESF lessons from Pre le Joux, a short and easy drive every day. The Portes du Soleil area offered enough variety for the whole party and we would love to return. Many thanks for a wonderful week.

Le chalet des Loups se démarque des autres résidences par son confort et son authentisme. Tout y est prévu pour passer un séjour incroyable, et plus important encore, l'hôtesse est d'une gentilesse sans pareil. Le chalet est extrêmement bien placé des pistes, mais aussi du centre-ville et des arrêts de bus. Tout est prévu aussi pour vos enfants, et notre animal de compagnie a été accepté avec beaucoup de confiance.

Chalet Les Loups really was everything that we could have hoped for. We hadn't been to Chatel before but we will certainly be returning.....if Chalet Les Loups will have us. The landlord was nothing short of excellent prior to the holiday and the welcome pack was a wonderful bonus after a long journey. We stayed with our 3 sons, aged 20, 20 and 18 who absolutely loved the resort for the extent of the skiing and they spent a fun NYE out in the town. We were a party of 7 and the chalet delivered on every aspect, from enough hot water for 7 to shower, to there being no shortage of chairs, seats on sofas, plates, cooking utensils etc. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Our second year at the chalet was just as great as the first. Amazing snow again, but far colder weather this time around meant the underfloor heating and large boot room driers were really valuable. The parking spot under the balcony keeps the car ice-free and saves a few minutes each morning. For people staying here in future, Vertical Horizons is a great place to hire the ski gear (10 mins up the road, and 5 mins shy of the mains lifts at Pierre Longue/Pre la Joux); you also get 20% off for an online booking in advance.

This chalet is perfectly located near Châtel and Chapelle d’Abondance. The chalet is well equipped and spacious! Great restaurants and hiking trails are accessible by car. We could only imagine what it would be like in prime skiing season! Le chalet est très bien situé entre Châtel et Chapelle d’abondance. Le chalet est bien équipé et très spacieux. We had an amazing week in this huge chalet. The place is immaculate, has a big TV room downstairs and a great central lounge and large dining area upstairs. The chalet is modern and the finish is great. It has a big storage room for skis & boards, and plenty of room both below the chalet and opposite for parking a couple of cars. Intermarche is just 90 seconds drive away. A car is really useful because Chatel is no taxi-central, although the relatively infrequent ski-bus goes from 200 yards down the hill. You are 3 mins drive from Chatel, and 10 mins drive from Pre la Joux which is a great base to ski from with bars, ski hire & lockers, lots of parking, big chair-lift up, learner slops for beginners, etc. We had a wonderful week - totally recommend it.

This is a lovely chalet, larger than a lot of chalets, with nice seating areas and an extremely well equipped kitchen for catering. The chalet was very clean on arrival with all the facilities you would expect. The welcome hamper was a nice touch. The chalet was plenty big enough for the six adults and four young children we stayed with. The two separate living areas are very useful for larger groups. Only an hour and a halfs easy drive from Geneva airport. Chatel is a very picturesque ski village with some very good nearby ski areas, which are easily accessible with short drives. It is also only a couple of minutes drive to the large intemarche which made self catering very easy. We enjoyed the skiing in the portes du soleil region. We ate out a few nights from the recommended restaurants in the chalet and were not disappointed. The owner was very helpful and even provided us with two high chairs that were very useful. We had a great week!

John has attempted and succeeded in creating a well thought through chalet with all the amenities you'd need for an easy relaxing stay from heated boot warmer to feature wood burner, wifi (for those of us who need to stay in touch), wii (for those who want not to stay in touch) to a wonderful welcome pack. Think Surrey or Chelsea in the snow. I loved the split living spaces with a lounge area for kids and couch potatoes but also a spacious open plan living room / kitchen diner. It's nice to sit and write a review and not actually find anything that was missing.

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans ce superbe chalet à proximité des remontés mécaniques. il est très spacieux, décoré avec goût et très bien équipé ! De plus, le propriétaire est vraiment très disponible et sympathique ! Je le conseille vivement !
