Tout est est excellent : l'emplacement , la vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et l'accueil de Mehovil et de sa famille avec leurs petites attentions quotidiennes . L'appartement est très propre , le linge de toilette changé chaque jour. Les chambres sont belles et donnent chacune sur la belle terrasse. La cuisine est minuscule et ne permet pas de faire la cuisine. Tout est parfait mais attention pour descendre aux restaurantqou vous baladez en bord de mer , ca descend tres fort ...donc la remontée est parfois rude. Je recommande à 100% ce logement et son propriétaire en qui on peut avoir confiance

It has been our first time to Croatia and we have spent a lovely long summer vacation 2019 which all of us truly enjoyed. We will miss the beautiful ocean view. Apartment location You will especially appreciate the location of the apartment when not travelling by car. Everything (beaches, bakery, restaurants & bars, supermarkets, drug store, pharmacy, bus stop and ferry boat to Dubrovnik) is within a walking distance of maximum of 2-10 minutes. Despite of the central location it is not noisy and you have a beautiful view. Apartment facilities You have a beautiful view from the balcony! If you are in favour of greens and plants you will enjoy and maybe even admire the many flowerpots and greens around the house. The pictures of the apartment give you a very good impression and there were only positive surprises such as umbrellas for the balcony even an umbrella to take to the beach. The kitchen offers you an alternative to dining out with various pans and pots, plates and silverware as well as space to store your supplies in the cabinets, fridge and freezer. You have your own space to hang your laundry with a laundry hamper, laundry basket and laundry clips making your life much easier. You will appreciate the air conditioning allowing you to set and adjust tovyour desired temperature. Everything is well thought through and clean! Hosts / landlords We felt welcome from the very first moment of our arrival - even our rather shy and introverted teenager. Mihovil and all hosts are lovely and kind people who are willing to help you (even when we approached them on a very short notice) while leaving you your space. We found delicious culinary surprises but they themselves make the difference and give the special touch to Villa Scala. My multiple (and probably partly strange) questions prior to the bookings were answered timely and in detail, confirming the positive impression I had gained from another review. The fact that Mihovil offered to arrange a transfer from and to the airport gave me peace of mind and it was nice that he could even personally give us the ride. The fact that it was even cheaper than a taxi is only mentioned for those of you who might worry about the costs of such a personal service. Beaches You have different beaches where you can rent beach umbrellas and sun beds. There are also trees that offer some space in the shadow throughout the day and there is a park (with a playground and sort of a fitness trail as well as public bathrooms) spreading throughout between two beaches where you will find shadow and cooler temperatures even during noonday. You will also find opportunities to buy snacks, drinks and ice-cream very close to the beach. Most of the beaches are pebbles and sand-pebble-mix, have a beach shower and an opportunity to get changed at the beach. It has been our first time with pebble beaches and I had been a bit sceptical before but have come to enjoy the benefits of not having sand all over the cloths, towels and so on ... and even without sun bed. Beach shoes to wear in the water are of benefit and can be purchased close to the beach or elsewhere. Sports There are different water sports opportunities (kayak, SUP, pedal boat, ... ) and a small fitness trail with a kind of outdoor gym machines.

We stayed here in May 2019 for 10 nights and it was really lovely. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well stocked with kitchen equipment, so much so that we could cook a proper dinner if we wanted to (and did many times!). We were shown great hospitality by the owners who were friendly and generous with their gifts of homemade treats and wine. The apartment is set back from the main road but a short walk to the nearest shop and about 10 mins from the beach, which was stunning. Lots to do and see. We didn’t have great weather sadly so hired a car for 4 days and did lots of sightseeing. Went to Montenegro, Bosnia etc - really very central location for great exploring. Thank you to Mihovil and his family for our superb holiday. ☺️

A very nice location, great and clean apartment and very friendly family. We stayed 14 days in August 2017 and had one of the nicest holidays in Croatia. Quiet place, which is very close to Dubrovnik, great excursion possibilities, small beaches with very clean water. We were very satisfied. I can only recommend the apartment.

Villa Scala foi uma excelente escolha para nossas férias na Croácia. é realmente um lugar de paz e tranquilidade. Os proprietários são super atenciosos, educados e carinhosos. Por muitas vezes fomos surpreendidos com mimos como, bolo, vinho caseiro (delicioso), tomates e pepinos fresquinhos e etc. Meu filho de 5 anos teve bastante atenção da proprietária (infelizmente esqueci o nome) apesar de não falarem a mesma língua, o contato foi como se fosse avó e neto. As toalhas e os lençóis sempre limpos. A vista do balcão é inesquecível, distancia até a praia é razoável, fácil acesso a Dubrovnik e as outras cidades vizinhas. Com certeza voltaremos. Mihovil é muito atencioso, sempre respondendo as minhas perguntas tanto por email como via whatsapp. Enfim, voltaremos com certeza. Mais uma vez, obrigada a Mihovil e toda sua familía!

Great communication from Mihovil during the booking and he kindly offered that his uncle would pick us up from the airport. We were greeted at Villa Scala with a local schnapps and home made cakes which was fantastic. The apartment had two good sized bedrooms and a great bathroom. The kitchen was very small in like a hallway but with kettle, sink, portable stove and microwave and a small table. To be honest you don't cook on holiday so it was fine for us. Rooms were cleaned every day and the view from the balcony was great. As with other reviewers the hosts make this villa. Very friendly and go the extra step to make you feel welcome. It was my birthday while I was there and I was greeted on my return from the beach with a bottle of home made wine and some cake. The home made wine kept getting replaced when it was empty and we were also left home grown tomatoes and invited to share ice cream with them. Mlini itself is great too with small friendly beaches and a beautiful harbour. The only downside is that you have to cross a busy road to get to the beaches, but once crossed the beach and harbour are surrounded by greenery and dotted with little parks much to the delight of my 5 year old daughter. Great base for exploring the surrounding area!

Siamo stati in questo grazioso appartamento che si trova a Mlini, una località vicino Dubrovnik. Abbiamo affittato l'appartamento composto da 2 camere da letto spaziose e con aria condizionata con vista e terrazzìno sulla riviera. Il soggiorno è stato incantevole, abbiamo trovato tutto pulito ed ordinato. Il bagno confortevole con vasca dotata di porta a vetro. Unico neo. Il cucinìno che è stato ricavato nello spazio antistante alle 2 camere da letto, in quanto risulta essere piccolo e non adatto per 4 persone. Siamo però riusciti lo stesso ad organizzare delle cenette cenando sul terrazzino. In compenso il frigorifero é grande. I proprietari sono davvero cordiali, gentili e veramente ospitali. Sono davvero rimasta sorpresa dalla loro gentilezze che ci hanno riservato in diverse occasioni. Nonostante il limite del cucinotto davvero piccolo, ci ritornerei lo stesso!!!!

We had a beautiful time during our stay in Villa Scala from 14. of July 2013 till 25. of July. The apartment is very well equipped, comfortable, very clean and has a fantastic view of the sea and islands. Family Fjorovic is very friendly and hospitable, takes very good care of everything. Many thanks to Ms. Fjorovic for the delicious cakes, home made wine, fruits and vegetables, which we found each afternoon in our room when we came back from the beach. :-) Many thanks to Mr. Fjorovic for driving us to the supermarket and to the airport. Thanks to the Mihovil for the organisation, we have had a very good contact during the booking of the apartment. We would recommend everyone Villa Scala as holiday stay in Croatia.
