False Advertisement
This is absolutely ridiculous. Stains on furniture, ripped curtains, our pool doesn’t work and has a tarp on it, the hot water only lasts 5 minutes. None of this was mentioned. Won’t let us switch condos. False advertising. Stay away from this place. I’m so upset this is where I have to spend my honeymoon. And to top it off, there was condoms, and cocaine in the drawer from the previous tenant.

Worst rental I have ever experienced by a long shot
This unit 305 and the one next to it 306 need to be completely gutted and redone. It's criminal that they would pass these units off as luxury when I have stayed at motels that were cleaner and less damaged then these two units. From paint coming off the walls to cracks and damaged doors, flooring tile, walls and ceiling. Stains everywhere again on the walls, flooring sheets, furniture. It was so bad that our friends have already relocated next door at the Hyatt even though they will still have to pay the money for this falsely advertised unit. We will decide by tomorrow if I can stomach paying twice for a room on vacation. BRIC is complicit in allowing this to happen and not dropping them as a client and simply collecting their management fee even though they are defrauding clients. Only 10 pictures are allowed to be attached so I am including torn and dirty sheets, stained furniture and a bunch of other items. Learn from our mistakes, do not rent these units and don't use BRIC as it is clear that they will sell out to poorly maintained units.

Nos gustó mucho..... el hotel muy bonito.... muy buen servicio de parte de ustedes.......
El lugar que rente constaba de 3 habitaciones con vista al mar...... pero cuando llegamos una construcción nos tapaba toda la vista y había demasiado RUIDO.............. inmediatamente nos condujeron a otra más chica de dos habitaciones con vista al mar......... el proceso de ponernos de acuerdo y lograr el reembolso por el cambio de tamaño fué un poco dfícil, pero finalmente nos hicieron el reembolso y como solo fuimos 4 adultos fué suficiente y estuvimos muy cómodos y el lugar y la vista inmejorables...

What a place!!!! We have an amazing view from our private pool, is an spacious and well equipped apartment, modern and very comfortable, thoroughly recommend!!!

exceeded expectations
We stayed in Condo 305 form april 20th to april 27th, 2022.
The Experience was wonderful, the space impeccable, with the exception of a cpl minor construction issues (the granit around the sink is separating from the rest of the counter top at the seams and the counter in the smaller bedroom has a minor crack) one is more than willing to overlook given the location and quality of the rest of the amenities. Two major components that were responsible for our satisfaction were the housekeeper, Angie and the concierge, Isaac. Isaac was extremely helpful, professional and competent. Angie was diligent, friendly and we encountered our condo immaculate every time she was there. Both can only be described as assets to your organization.
The location was extraordinary and we are looking forward to booking again with Brick. Keep up the good work.

Best trip ever
I have been planning my stay at the aldea Thai for months since it is the place where I proposed to my girlfriend. The place is beautiful and felt like a very exclusive resort. We were right on the beach which made our trip very easy. The rooms are huge and having your own deck with private pool really made us feel like rockstars. Since this is the place where we got engaged, I am happy to say we will be celebrating our anniversary every year at the aldea Thai for many years.

Incredible Views!
With my latest trip to Playa, staying at Aldea Thai confirmed my theory that renting a condo is the very best choice of accommodations. There are some really great boutique hotels in the city, however, the comforts and convenience of having your own kitchen and living spaces cannot be beat. It feels luxurious to have so much private space on vacation! My husband along with two of our very best friends rented a 2 bedroom penthouse (Unit 305) for a little over one week. Unit 305 is the last unit (north wing of building) located at the very front of the property directly facing the beach and ocean. No other unit is in front of 305 so there is nothing to block your view within the resort complex. The ocean views start in the living room and master bedroom (king bed) where you overlook Mamitas Beach Club as well as the beach running northwards. From the 2nd bedroom (2 double beds) you overlook Kool Beach Club as well as the beach running south. Upstairs on the private rooftop space with large couch and plunge pool, are completely panoramic views north to south of the beach and ocean. The views are breathtaking. The beaches in this northern area of Playa are really the best with powder soft sand and unbelievably clear turquoise water. The condo’s interior was very clean, comfortable and modern. One minor design flaw is with the master bathroom. The lighting and space are great, however, the design of the tub and shower are a bit odd and leave a watery mess. The tub is a deep soaking tub with two wooden steps to help you clear the tall tub walls. The shower head is mounted in the ceiling directly over the tub and when showering, water gets all over the floor (no glass doors or curtain) and the wooden steps become slick as you try to exit the tub. The common space at Aldea Thai is well maintained and designed. The large shared pool was a refuge from the busy beach clubs. Relaxing ambient chill music played and there was full bar (which you could also swim up to) and food service to your chairs.
This was my first time booking through BRIC and I would certainly never hesitate to go back to them and definitely recommend them to everyone. BRIC has a hotel in very close proximity (about a 5 minute walk) to Aldea Thai in which you can stop into the front desk if you have any issues or questions during your rental period. This easy access to their staff was reassuring and everyone was very helpful. I would recommend booking airport transfers through BRIC at the time of making your reservation. The private van service was a great value and makes the arrival experience painless.
Be assured that Aldea Thai is in an incredible area of Playa. Very safe and in the heart of every restaurant and bar you could ever imagine. Playa remains to have some of the best food I have ever had and I am not sure everyone knows just how much of a “foodie” town it is. Some standouts on this trip were Yaxche (contemporary Mayan); Pummarola (pizza); Babe’s Noodles (appetizers and daiquiris specifically); John Gray’s and 10 (steaks); Chez Celine (breakfast – fresh pastries and bread); La Bodeguita del Medio (Mojitos and live music); and the closest to Aldea, Mamitas (fresh ceviche and grilled fish). Finally, you should not miss walking north up the beach and stopping in for an afternoon bucket of beers at Canibal Royal Beach Club (around 48th and beach).

Perfect location--beach views and close to everything
This penthouse is gorgeous. Flat screen tv's in every room, beautiful sun deck and splash pool, ocean views and daily maid service. Oh, and there is a nice pool at the complex with a swim up bar. Very safe--there are doormen in front of the complex who will get you a taxi or anything you need. Highly recommend!

We really researched the condo's in Playa del Carmen and were promised all types of deals BUT...BRIC Rentals delivered the real deal with this condo!!!Amazing views, smoking roof top pool,near all day & night activities and they stocked our refrigerator with custom items..Private transportation was perfect and we will go again as as soon as possible..
