Our property is called VILLA LUNA and it is enclosed in a beautiful private housing development with swimming pools called Playa Bastian, in a very quiet and privileged area of Costa Teguise. We are situated 50 meters from one of the beaches of the promenade. On walking distance to other beaches, plenty of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and the village’s centre (Pueblo Marinero). Villa Luna is located by the east coast at the middle of Lanzarote, the perfect gateway to go visit the whole island. The housing is a one floor house of Lanzarote’s characteristic architectural style. It has an outdoor modern jacuzzi-Spa, as well as sun loungers, a barbecue with firewood and an outdoor cooking area. It is perfect to relax, sunbathe, and for spending time having long talks and dining. The housing is a one floor house of Lanzarote’s characteristic architectural style. It has an outdoor modern jacuzzi-Spa, as well as sun loungers, a barbecue with firewood and an outdoor cooking area. It is perfect to relax, sunbathe, and for spending time having long talks and dining. The garden is beautiful, with a variety of cactus, palm trees, succulents, and other species, ideal to enjoy the tranquility, the climate and this exotic place during every season. To enter the villa we have 2 different ENTRANCES. One small gate that access from the private complex to the front garden of the villa, and another door in the back garden that takes you directly to the promenade and beach. You can choose to use each of them at your discretion. If you have a CAR, we also have a private area were you can park with no problem. The outdoor JACUZZI-SPA is located on the back garden of the villa and is private to the villa alone. It is beautifully integrated with the garden and is perfect to relax and enjoy life. The jacuzzi-Spa as well as allowing for recreational bathing, can also be enjoyed for its therapeutic properties. It reduces stress and improves sleep through warm water, relieves pain through targeted jet and bubbles action and gives you a customizable hydromassage experience through different adjustable jets. Each corner seat has a different set of jets intended for different parts of the body, you can change seats to complete the massage cycle. In addition, you can connect your phone to the jacuzzi’s bluetooth to enjoy music while bathing. Inside the Playa Bastian complex there are 4 SWIMMING POOLS. They are regulated with water climate control systems and you can choose to use any of them. The nearest one is just 35 meters away from the house, is very quiet and calm. It has a bar-restaurant, therefore it is ideal to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the place; you can eat and drink there, make friends and have a swim, all with views to the ocean and the promenade, perfect for a fun holiday. The Playa Bastian private housing development has two ACCESSES. You can access it on foot from the beach through a gate by the promenade, or by car through the road Avenida de Mar which is located at top of the complex, right by a taxi stop and a few meters from a bus stop and a supermarket. The PROMENADE is 5 kilometers long and ideal to go for a walk along the seafront, go to any of its 5 beaches or to the village center (Pueblo Marinero). Thanks to the promenade everything is nearby, you can go on foot to supermarkets, restaurants, shops, parks, playgrounds, etc., as well as have access to guided tours and excursion, sport activities, surf and scuba dive schools, bicycles and car rentas and even language academies. All on walking distance from the house. There are several BEACHES along the promenade, these are the 3 main ones: 1 - The closest beach to our home is right in front at just 50 meters, and it is also called Playa Bastian. Bastian Beach is a sandy small semi-urban and quiet cove with calm water. It is very well equipped with beautiful lava-stone walls that protect against wind, stairs and gardens, which frame the promenade of Costa Teguise. It is one of the least visited, so you can find room in the shade of one of its palm trees to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. 2 - There is a second beach called Playa El Jablillo just at a 5 minutes walk (200 meters) from Playa Bastian along the seafront. This small cove of 150 meters is a favorite in Costa Teguise. It is of a beautiful turquoise color, gold sand and calm, almost crystalline waters full of fish. El Jablillo beach is of very easy access for the whole family, and, as well as being naturally sheltered from the marine currents, it has 2 breakwaters which further guarantee the tranquility of its waters, making it very safe for swimming. It is a perfect beach for those who want to go scuba diving or snorkel and for families with small children. For more peace of mind, this beach has lifeguards on duty 365 days a year. 3 - A little father is Las Cucharas beach. It is located by the town center, thus perfect for a relaxing stroll from the house. It is a 650 meters long urban beach of white sand. There you will find very calm water ideal for paddling and swimming, thanks to the riprap which protects it from the sea. In addition, it has an area reserved for water sports on offer such as surfing, windsurfing and scuba diving as well as pedal boating.

Perfect Apartment in perfect location
Villa Luna in Playa Bastian is perfect for a holiday in Costa Teguise. I stayed 10 nights in October and the weather was great. The apartment has eveything you would need, Miguel was the perfect host and can help you with everything. Miguel is simply around the corner and is nearby but leaves you in peace to have the perfect holiday. The apartment is a studio, but when you spend most of the time outside it is all you need. The Jaccuzzi is lovely and was a godsend as I hurt my back just before the holiday and found it very relaxing. There are 3 swimming pools on the complex and Miguel provides beach towels.The apartment is next to the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants and a supermarket. Such lovely hosts, I would highly recommend this apartment.

A lovely winter break
A warm welcome awaited us from owner Miguel and his wife. Over some tasty tapas and a drink, he explained all we needed to know. The flat was very smart and with a typical Canarian wood roof. This one though had a glass frame letting you see the stars through it. Magical. We had a very restful week and would thoroughly recommend it.
