Valley view cottage, Lauragh, Co Kerry. We booked 7 nights at Eileen and Robert's beautiful cottage.They were out standing hosts, gifts of wine and chocolates on arrival. Loads of information on where too visit and loads of it was on our door step. When they found out it was my birthday the following day we returned to a gift and card for me, lovely touch thank you. The veiws when you arrive are breath taking, even with chanageable weather. Helen's bar was the first place we went to, amazing food, salmon and crab to die for and great Guinness and Helen was a lovely lady with great young staff. Derren Garden is a must, only 5 minutes away.Gleninchaquin Park must do if you like walking. Thats just a few things to do. But be assured you have the perfect Irish cottage and hosts. Well woth a visit. Thank You

This was our second stay with Eileen and Robert. They are such friendly and helpful hosts. We had a fantastic break staying at Valley View cottage. The cottage is cosy and comfortable. The view from the front garden is just stunning. If you are looking for a quiet break with beautiful scenery this is it.

I loved waking up to views of mountains all around from the four poster bed at Valley View Cottage. I stated 2 weeks and Eileen and Robert were the perfect hosts - checking on me from time to time and supplying anything I needed. The house is well equipped with all facilities including good, strong wifi. There were more places to see and walks nearby than I could do in 2 weeks - such a gorgeous part of Ireland. Thanks so much for making my stay a great one!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable . Le cottage est bien équipé avec une super vue sur les montagnes du Beara. Eileen et Robert sont très sympathiques, accueillants et donnent de bons conseils pour visiter la région.

Thanks for the bag of logs. The cottage feels like home. The views were great and at night the stars were beautiful. We are not walkers but love driving the ring of beara,the ring of Kerry and mizenhead and sheeps head . We also drove the kockatee drive. The views like you said were worth the drive. We had rain the first 2 days but very lucky to ve beautiful sunny and warm weather after. Thanks for the tips on where to go and for your hospitality. You both were great

Ontvangst was buitengewoon hartelijk door Eileen en Robert in onze fraaie cottage gelegen op een heuvel met een werkelijk wonderschoon uitzicht. De cottage was ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken voor een heerlijke vakantie. Onze gastvrouw en heer maakte ons meteen warm voor de mooie omgeving op het Ierse schiereiland Beara en niets was er van gelogen : werkelijk prachtig, bergen, groen, watervallen, pittoreske dorpjes met vriendelijke bewoners kortweg teveel om te benoemen met woorden. Bedankt Eileen en Robert, wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad en komen zeker nog eens terug. Jan en Caroline

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cottage with its fantastic views of the mountains. The cottage is perfectly located for exploring the wonderful Beara Peninsula on your doorstep or the Ring of Kerry or Dingle Peninsula. There are some wonderful local pubs a short drive away. The cottage itself is cosy and comfortable, with an open fire kindly supplied with logs by the hosts, Eileen and Robert. They also supply a warm welcome (we won't spoil the surprise) plus lots of useful information about the local area. A fantastic trip.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans le kerry avec notre fille notre gendre et notre petite fille Maya....un accueil formidable de la part de Eileen et de Robert après un voyage fatigant..un gîte bien équipé au milieu d un paysage à couper le souffle ....malgré un temps très humide...notre séjour a été agreable....les irlandais sont vraiment hospitaliers...charmants. ....

Folgend auf Deutsch: Wir haben mit 2 Personen und einem großen Hund etwa 12 Tage im Valley View Cottage auf der Beara Peninsula verbracht: Ein wunderschönes Häuschen mit einem grandiosen Blick auf die Berge und ins Tal. Das Haus hat 2 Schlafzimmer, 1 kleines Zimmer, Küche, Wohnzimmer mit offenem Kamin, Duschbad, Waschmaschine, Trockner, Staubsauger, Bügeleisen, ... - alles ist da! Eileen und Robert kümmern sich nicht nur um Holz, sonder bei allen Fragen oder für Tipps helfen sie gerne weiter (SMS;)...und sie haben kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft. Die Gegend ist atemberaubend, vor allem, wenn man abseits der touristisch doch sehr erschlossenen Ring-of-Kerry oder Dingle Gegend Irland erleben möchte (ich sage nur: Healy Pass, Allihies, Dursey Islands, der Knockatee Mountain um die Ecke und ein muss: Ladies Mile Loop, ....). Ihr findet hier Ruhe, Entspannung, Erholung, Natur, Meer, auch Strände (muss man suchen, aber sie sind da!) und vieles mehr - KLARE EMPFEHLUNG!!!
