I have done a lot of travelling and stayed in a lot of hotels around the world and this is the first time I have ever written a review. The apartment I stayed in at Haus Haggenmuller was fantastic. The Haus and apartments have been renovated (and still being renovated) but retain their old charm and everything that is needed in terms of amenities are in the apartments. Haus Haggenmuller is right in the middle of Hopfgarten and within walking distance of everything, shops, restaurants, ski lifts and walking trails Coming from Australia it was amazing to see that the fresco in the lobby is as old as modern Australia. And I have to make mention of Irmgard the owner of Haus Haggenmuller, what a lovely lady. Very friendly and caring in regards to her guests. I'm not sure if all guests get this treatment but I was lucky enough to have Irmgard supply me with lovely freshly baked cakes and she offered to drive me around if needed. If you are looking for great accommodation and taking in some of the local culture then do yourself a favour and look to stay at Haus Haggenmuller, I highly recommend it. Andreas and Irmy were wonderful hosts and their apartment was absolutely the ideal location...we visited Innsbruck, Kitzbuhel, Rattenburg ... and Hopfgarten itself is a lovely town! The apartment was more than comfortable, it was also quite charming! As we looked at the artwork, we realized that Irmy had painted much of it and the decor was obviously done by someone with a creative perspective. We stayed for only four days, and it was our first of multiple places we stayed, but it was the BEST and we stayed at several five-star hotels. We highly recommend Haus Haggenmuller for your stay...you will not regret it! We look forward to returning someday!

We stayed here for one week in summertime. Hopfgarten is an ideal base for exploring the whole Tyrol region. The apartment was lovely - very spacious, lots of light and sun, well appointed, and immaculately clean. The winter garden is a great space to sit and eat breakfast or enjoy a cup of tea and look at the scenery. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

Ik ben met twee vrienden het laatste weekend van het ski-seizoen in dit appartement geweest. Het was een erg prettig verblijf. De eigenaresse is erg aardig en gaf goede informatie van de omgeving. Ze heeft zelfs een cake en een brood voor ons gebakken. Dat zal ze vast niet bij elke gast doen, wij zijn natuurlijk ook bijzonder vriendelijk! Het is een fantastisch, stijlvol opgeknapt, fris, net, goed ingericht appartement! Aan de buitenzijde lijkt het niet zo mooi maar dat moet nog opgeknapt worden. Wij hebben een erg leuk ski-weekend gehad! TOP!

Nous avons occupé un appartement au premier niveau qui n'est pas celui présenté sur les photos mais dont nous avons été très satisfait. Très propre, bien équipé et décoré, lumineux, télé et wifi, accueil très agréable et chaleureux, plein de bon conseils. Maison ancienne située dans le village donc entourée d'autres batiments, mais très silencieux

Sin dal nostro arrivo a Hopfgarten in Brixental ci ha sorpreso la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei padroni di casa. Ci hanno colmato di attenzioni, si sono informati delle gite che avevamo intenzione di fare e ci hanno dato consigli utilissimi. La casa si trova in centro, vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e a negozi e supermercati. La casa è antica ma di charme ed è circondata da un bel giardino. Pulizia, comfort e wifi veloce e gratuito hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto piacevole. Un'esperienza sicuramente da ripetere.

PROS: I had a great experience since my arrival. The owner's were very nice to me, showing the place around and giving me tips of what to do during my vacation days. The apartment is LOVELY! Very well decorated, everything working just fine and with quality. It looks very romantic and rustic. It has all the tools to make your stay very enjoyable. I'm a very avid reader, so I'd say that it was perfect for me: the place is VERY comfortable, which was great when I wanted to stay in and read. You can find a variety of places to shop around and 3 supermarkets within less than 8 minutes of walk! (One of them is just across the street.) A couple of blocks away I found some nice restaurants, coffee places and more... Not to mention how close it is to the Ski lift. I'd recommend this place to all my friends. CONS: The only con I'd say was that the property next to it is having some sort of renewal, making the surroundings look less pretty, but the noise was minimum, to not say unexistant.
