visited this lovely apartment with a group of friends for a few days in December 2019. The apartment is large and tastefully furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped. The apartment is only a 2 minute walk from the town centre. And a 10 minute walk to the local train station. It is also a 5 minute walk to Canal Midi, in the summer months you can hire boats on the Canal. No car is required, we caught the shuttle to and from Bezier Airport to the apartment and during our stay we travelled by train to Montpellier and Bezier. I understand that in the summer months that there is a shuttle service to the beach. There are lots of very good restaurants and bars in the town and I hope to have the opportunity in the near future of trying more of them. I highly recommend this apartment it is ideal to use as a base to explore the surrounding area.

We stayed in this beautiful attic apartment for a few days in December 2019. It’s in a stone house in the centre of town - very close to the market, shops, bars and restaurants. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The apartment is a good size and very comfortable. It’s in a great location very close to transport links so it’s not necessary to hire a car. We visited some of the lovely surrounding towns and also went to beautiful Montpelier and it’s lovely Christmas Market. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and will be looking to go again later this year.

We spent a wonderful few days in this delightful,comfortable apartment that provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Visiting Adge was a joy - finding it an French port full of charm and character, with a good choice of restaurants to eat in and authentic shops to self cater with a huge selection of local delicious produce. Highly recommended!

Perfect location near to bars and restaurants so all walkable with no designated driver. A large car park adjoins the apartment great for the hire car. The apartment is modern spacious, has everything needed for a great holiday and is extremely comfortable. The beach is a bus or car journey away but not far and is beautiful and great for children and adults alike. Lots of lovely places to visit such as St Guillem de Desert, Aiges de Mortes as well as Bezier and Pezanas.

Agde is one of the oldest towns in France, full of history an old buildings. But this apartment has been renovated to a high, modern standard with all you could need. Much appreciated was the fridge supplied with water, milk, orange juice and a bottle of wine, as our afternoon flight was delayed and the supermarkets closed by the time we arrived at the apartment. Spacious rooms and an open plan kitchen and dining area. Internet access/Wi-Fi was provided and a big help when planning our days out. Along with numerous travel literature provided in the apartment. We did not need to hire a car. Bezier airport is about 15 min. taxi ride away and the apartment is a perfect base. The nearest bakery and supermarket 2 minutes’ walk. As is the centre of the town, with regular markets, shops and restaurants. Here is the tourism office as well and the staff speak English. As do the bus drivers. Did several trips by bus to explore and if you want to go much further afield, the train station is 10 minute walk and you can get to Marseilles or Montpelier. But there is plenty to see and do in the town itself with a cathedral and several museums and architecture to see. Agde is situated on the river and this meets with the canal, nice walks. If the beach is your thing then you can get several buses, no more than 30 minutes. 1 Euro each way. There is also a Hypermarket along these routes approx. 10 minutes. We took the bus to Mont Saint-Loup: the volcano overlooking the Cap d’Agde, To Rochelonge plage, western side of Cap d'Agde, lovely beach then a 15 minute walk to the Marina. And a third bus trip to Le Grau d'Agde, a fishing village and port where the river meets the sea. One word of advice is, always attempt to speak French first. We managed perfectly with our school French, (we're in our early 50s) and a translation app. Not all menus will be translated to English. Some shops and restaurants will have some English and want to practise with you. There is plenty of choice, whether you want fine dining or pizza, pasta and burgers. And most are open at set times, lunch 12-2pm and dinner approx. 7-9pm. Places to eat in the town centre or along the river. Un appartement magnifique : propreté irréprochable, spacieux, confortable, bien situé... attention à la mansarde quand on est pas habitué et aux fenêtres si vous avez comme nous un enfant en bas âge qui se ballade à 4 pattes...
