The house is nice, from the balcony you have a beautiful view over St. Pierre´s roofs to the sea. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need to cook a nice meal. While we were there, the washing-machine broke down, but the owners did everything within their power to fix the problem. The house is suitable for a family with small children, but there is a set of steep stairs down to the bedrooms; if you have very small children, you must make sure that the children do not use the stairs on their own. We found the house very cosy and nice and would book it again. The bathroom is the only weak point as it is rather small and has a shower with a curtain (the eternal struggle with curtains sticking to the body while showering.... But it has to be said that the curtain was 100% clean). Regarding the location one has to know that it is not that far from the beach, but St. Pierre is built in a weird way, that makes it hard to find a way that goes through to the beach. It is a bit of a labyrinth, which is a bit frustrating when you are carrying loads of beach-stuff (umbrella, cool-bag, small children, etc. ).
