Toller Aufenthalt mit kleinen Defiziten
Die Lage des Appartements ist unschlagbar. Man geht aus dem Garten und ist direkt an einem felsigen Strand, über den man aber prima ins Meer einsteigen kann (unten ist dann Sand). Ein paar Meter weiter ist dann auch noch ein richtiger Sandstrand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen (kostenlos!), die zu einer Beachbar gehören. Dort kann man mit dem nötigen Kleingeld frühstücken, zu Mittag und zu Abend essen, Getränke werden auch an die Liegen gebracht.
Da man sich im Appartement selbst versorgen muß, sollte man möglichst vorher einen großen Supermarkt aufsuchen. Der nächstgelegene Supermarkt in Katakolo ist zwar relativ gut ausgestattet, aber auch sehr teuer. Tavernen bzw Restaurants sind ebenfalls in Katakolo zu finden (4 km).
Unser Appartement war recht hübsch eingerichtet mit alten Möbeln, was man dann jedoch auch beim Schlafen zu spüren bekommen hat. Das Bett hatte uralte durchgelegene Federkernmatrazen. Über eine mußten wir diverse Decken legen, sonst konnte man darauf gar nicht schlafen. Außerdem sind in der nahen Umgebung mehrere Hunde, die sich Tag und Nacht mit ihrem Gebell übertreffen wollten. Das Fenster schließen konnten wir nicht, da sonst die Wärme nicht auszuhalten war (keine Klimaanlage). Am Tag sind außerdem Militärflugzeuge über uns hinweggebrettert, ab 22 Uhr dann aber nicht mehr. Trotzdem: Ausruhen bedeutet etwas Anderes.
Die Sanitäranlagen im sehr kleinen Bad benötigen auch mal eine Generalüberholung.
Wen das nicht stört, verbringt dort einen super Urlaub.

Gradevole e rilassante
Il luogo è molto bello e tranquillo. La casa è accogliente ed il giardino ampio e molto curato. Dal giardino si accede direttamente alla spiaggia. I padroni sono gentili, disponibili e riservati.
Migliorabile la dotazione di pentolame dell'angolo cottura.
Nelle vicinanze il magnifico sito archeologico di Olimpia e numerose altre vestigia interessanti.

Beautiful apartment at a great seaside location
We stayed with our two teenagers (14 and 18). The apartment is comfortable and nice. The yard offers excellent spots to stay in a shady or sunny places. Right outside the yard there is a great place to enter the sea and 50m away there is a nice beach with c snack cafe.
Owners' daughter speaks good English and was very friendly and helpful.
We strongly recommend this place.
