Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa. Les photos sont très conformes. Les extérieurs avec la piscine offrent une vue magnifique sur le village de Castiglion. Difficile de s'en lasser!

We had an amazing time in the Villa from the minute we arrived by car. The owner was very friendly and helped recommended places to eat. The Villa was exactly as it was in the pictures and most importantly the view. We used the outside table and chairs for Breakfast and Dinners every night. The pool was cleaned twice in the week we stayed as bugs would occasionally dive in. We cooked meals and used the outside wood fire oven to make pizzas. WIFI was free and great to use. We felt the facilities were great and there was not a speck of dust to be found on arrival. The property is also behind secure gates. There have been two major celebrities who have stayed in this villa. I best not to mention on Trip Advisor. You can find out for yourself. :) Looking around at other villas in the area, this one seemed to have the best views and best located. The condition of the villa was is excellent condition too. You have very easy access to the main village and roads. The villa is located outside any tourist areas and is fully local, so you don't really get other tourists in the town. You can get to the supermarkets Penny and Coop easily. I can't remember the third supermarket but they are all nearby.

Villa la Foce is amazing! And I am very fussy! This home is immaculate and the gardens and pool area are superb. We arrived via the newer part of the village and were initially concerned that it did not have the charm we were after... A drive through the old village and up the hill put our concerns to rest! The view is breathtaking and sipping prosecco while cooking homemade pizza in the wood fired oven while the children swam and laughed in the balmy twilight will never be forgotten! We spotted wild boar in the olive grove below the house, pheasant, badgers, squirrels and even a scorpion scurried out of the pizza oven when lit! All a novelty for this australian family! The restaurant at the top of the hill "la Foce" was recommended by our helpful key holder Enrico... Fabulous food - try the Chianina Bistecca and wonderful service. The famous Palio was on in the village during our stay and was wildly entertaining. We were well positioned to explore Tuscany and loved being out of the village but not too far away. We would return in a heartbeat and thank both the owners for sharing such a beautiful property and terretrushe for the excellent service! We hope to return one day. Bellisimo ! The Foster Family.
