We loved our stay here for two weeks. The views were spectacular and it was so peaceful and tranquil. The apartment is like a home away from home, with everything you could possibly need. It is spacious and light and the air conditioning was a blessing during the heatwave. Plenty of crockery and pots and pans. The views from the patio are stunning and we enjoyed many breakfasts gazing out over the lovely pool area and the ocean. We even had the good luck to see a pod of dolphins. There were also many lovely birds that came to visit us. The pool is great. It is a good size with different areas to it which means you never felt crowded, even when it was busy ( although busy meant there were maybe 6 or 7 groups, so never very many people). There is a nice little bar nearby for some nice cold drinks and icecream or coffee. There are plenty of sunbeds and shaded and sunny spots available. There are also plenty of paths along the coast, easily accessible from the apartment. Ideal for those that enjoy walking or cycling with spectacular views. In the local area Praia da Luz has a lovely beach and good restaurants and Burgau is a quaint village well worth a visit with a very calm sea perfect for young children to play safely. We hired a car to get around and found that places like Portimao, Albufeira, Lagos and Sagres are only a short distance along the quiet motorway. Elizabeth herself is wonderful. Quick to respond to any query both before and during our stay. I highly recommend this property and would definitely book again.

The apartment is excellent! It has everything you may need for nice holidays. It is fully equipped and really clean. You can see the sea in front of the terrace where there are furniture and enough space for the whole family. The swimming pool facilities are incredible for everyone, children and not so children. Also, the apartment is very well located, near Luz and near Burgau, whether you want to go to the beach or to explore the lovely places that Algarve offers. The owner is always available for any requirement you may have, and that it is a plus. Just to add that you could see at night an unforgettable star view. We look forward to going back in the near future.

It was our second holiday in this apartment and we want to return. This time, we took our bikes and ride to Praia da Luz and Burgau every single day, sometimes more than once. Elizabeth and David (the owners) were incredible, making sure everything was perfect.

We have just returned from a wondering stay at Porto Dona Maria. The apartment was very spacious, very well equipped with everything we needed, with the bonus of Wi-fi and Smart TV. Such a peaceful, beautiful location, overlooking the pool and sea. The pool, very safe, never busy and so close to access from the apartment. We loved the location to the West of the Algarve, loved the local towns of Luz and Burgau, easy drive to water parks, local quiet beaches, surfing on the West Coast, dolphin expeditions and days out paddle boarding and snorkelling. We would love to return. Fantastic in every way.

Stayed here end of May nice clean apartment equipped with everything you could possibly need including uk television . Fantastic views of the large mainly quiet pool area and out to sea with praia da luz to the left approx 25 minutes walk away mix of partial rugged coastal walk and road, or a taxi for 7 EURO Came back home refreshed and looking forward to returning later in the year. Before and throughout the holiday Elizabeth the owner was very helpful as were the local reps in ensuring that we had a relaxed and enjoyable stay

We stayed here for two weeks in August and it was brilliant. It was our fourth visit to Luz and we normally stay within walking distance of Luz beach. The views are breathtaking - absolutely gorgeous - I am not sure where you would find better. The pool area is very spacious, never crowded and really well laid out. We stayed here with our 7 year old son - the only downside was there were no English children, but he was fine we just spent more time entertaining him! It's a lovely walk into Luz - about 25 mins - we would generally walk one way and taxi back to keep everyone happy. We did have a car but the taxi service was great and very reliable. Well positioned for visiting beautiful Burgau and Salema, there are some lovely beaches to visit further to the west. The apartment is spacious and well equipped - it's very traditional and not too modern but very clean, good aircon. Our son said its a lot nicer than the photos we showed him !!! Luz itself is ideal for families - great beach, restaurants and activities. We return each year as we find it so enjoyable, and really pleased we found this apartment.

This apartment was the best in the complex. Beautiful views, quiet, spacious apartment. A great way to unwind after a few days in Lisbon. Very close to larger areas (Lagos, Luz proper) but a much more peaceful setting. Would stay again!

Das Appartement ist sehr gut ausgestattet und in einem sehr großen, jedoch ruhigen Ressort gelegen. Es war sehr sauber geputzt. Besonders schön ist die Terrasse, bin der aus man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Pool und vor allem auf das Meer. Sehr nett war das umfangreiche Willkommenspaket mit verschiedenen Lebensmitteln und Getränken.
