I can not say enough good things about this house! The property was clean and the pictures are true to the house. Everyone was so friendly. It is in a great location! Walking distance to West Bay. We loved the water taxis to West End. The sunsets in the evenings are like nothing I have ever seen! Will differently be staying here again!

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle

The Bonito Beach House/Apartments is mid-way between West End and West Bay. The apartment we stayed in had a large kitchen/dining-room/living-room area with a great view of the beach, just 50 metres away. The bedroom w/walk-in closet was also spacious. There’s a nice quiet reef just down the beach. To get there, turn right when you get to the sea shore and walk about 150 metres until you see the colourful mermaid on a rock. To enter the water walk about five metres farther, where it’s sandy. When you’ve finished exploring the reef you might try snorkelling back, keeping your eyes peeled for big green morays swimming through the grass beneath you. Eating: it’s a pleasant 15-20 minutes walk to the restaurants at West Bay; West End is a touch trickier because you’ll need to work your way around rocks that jut out into the sea—but it is do-able, even for 70 year old’s. There’s also a woman named Dana just around the corner from the apartment who does excellent baleadas and chicken dinners. If eating at home is your thing, have your cabbie do a stop at Eldon’s supermarket after being picked up at the airport. Prices are a little over the top here, but they’re better than you’ll find just about everywhere else. Your apartment will have good cooking and storage facilities.
