Superb modern well equipped apartment located close to beaches and the centre
Ixora Kerensa is a quiet modern duplex apartment in small block with a lovely swimming pool area, overlooking a green area and woodlands, where monkeys play most days. The location is superb, being a 500m flat walk to the local beach and town centre. The apartment is very well fitted, even including beach chairs and hat. Andrea who cleans does a superb job and is very helpful.
There are outside terraces on the ground and first floor which are large, private and well furnished.
Cooking and washing facilities are all excellent. There are two bathrooms and a separate loo. One has a walk in shower and the other a bath with shower over.

Great location,
Close to beaches, water sports, supermarket and restaurants all in walking distance. Apartment was a good size with air conditioning and a full sky package including sport.

Fabulous apartment in a great location
Our first time in Barbados didn't disappoint.From our transfer with the friendly Andrew to Joan' s beautifully decorated apartment which is in a fab location in Holestown to Agnes the cleaner, everything went smoothly.We were so happy with the professionalism of everybody involved and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Great stay in Holetown!
We have been going to Barbados for 8 years but this was our first stay at Ixora Apt 6 in Jamestown Park, Holetown. The location is excellent- Jamestown Park is a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood next to Limegrove Lifestyle Center. It's a very easy and short walk to Limegrove with many excellent restaurants and shops. A little further is Massy's supermarket- clean and well stocked so you can easily walk to buy food. Holetown itself has a number of very good restaurants, including Relish and Zaccio's on the casual side to The Sandpiper for fine dining. It seemed safe to walk at night to any of these- just use common sense caution and bring a flashlight because it gets dark about 6:30 regardless of the time of year. Also, Ixora is a short walk to the beach and we chose Settlers Beach- not crowded, you can sit in the shade ( at least until about 1pm), and the beach is beautiful. Beach chairs were provided by Joan and were easy to carry for us old folks!
The apartment itself was very nice. Modern conveniences, clean, comfy bed, good location within the building ( porch faces north so it's cool and shaded) and just steps from the pool ( nice, clean, comfy).
One caveat- it might be a problem for those with mobility issues or small children as the bedrooms are accessed by a narrow winding staircase. We had to leave our suitcases downstairs and carry our clothes up. Not a big deal but just an FYI.
The housekeeper came in once a week and did a good job and kindly brought additional towels when requested.
Plenty of hot water and excellent wifi ( 2 things we found lacking in rentals in previous years and locations). It would be convenient to have a car to go around the island but being American we did not feel comfortable driving on the left so if we weren't within walking distance there are a number of good taxi companies you can call. We ended up using Michael Jackson for all our trips around the island.
Bottom line- excellent apartment, excellent location, Joan was a pleasure to do business with- very responsive, and we would stay there again. Enjoy!

Fabulous
Fabulous apartment, clean modern and we'll equipped. Ideal location near beach, shops, bus routes and restaurants, all walkable. The owner Joan couldn't of been more helpful and prompt to respond. We booked the airport transfer and all went seamlessly well and were met at the apt on arrival with a warm welcome.

One word.... Fabulous!
Perfect location, the Ixora Kerensa is situated close to restaurants, bars, high end qualify shops and of course the beach. This apartment is situated in a peaceful safe area with a fabulous pool.
Booking process was easy to do, and we were met on arrival by Agnes, the apartment manager, who was so friendly and helpful. Two days into our holiday, the kettle ceased working, but after one call to Agnes we were given a new one straight away - excellent attention to service.
We spent eleven very happy enjoyable days at the Ixora complex and Barbados is simply paradise - we will definitely go back. Highly recommended you wont be disappointed.

Wonderful modern villa near beach
This was our first time staying in this beautiful villa and we loved it. Jamestown is a quiet, safe neighborhood and conveniently located near the beach, restaurants and shopping. The villa itself is modern, clean and comfortable. The apartment complex is secured and quiet. There was hardly anyone at the communal pool. Communication with Joan is great as well as with Agnes and the cleaning lady. We have already booked for next year.

Fabulous accommodation in a great location!
Amazing 2 bed split level apartment with everything one could wish for! Spotless, modern, spacious and within walking distance to the beach and Holetown. Second time we have stayed, and would highly recommend it. The owner is very helpful too - couldn't wish for a better experience. Thank you Joan!

De la prise en charge à l'aéroport jusqu'au départ, bonne synchronisation avec les personnes (taxi, hotesse de l'appartement) tout était parfait. L'appartement est très fonctionnel :
- à qques minutes à pieds de la plage, des restaurants, des taxis, des boutiques, de l'arrêté de bus pour la capital ou pour continuer vers le nord de l'île....et autres commerces et banques...
- l'aménagement intérieur est très soigné, tout et tout pour le confort, belle decoration, pour ne pas avoir trop chaud (ventilateurs au plafond dans toutes les pièces même sur la terrasse !)...on aime autant rentrer que sortir.
- pas de vis-à-vis, coin calme
Vraiment, bravo aux propriétaires qui par cela montre un profond respect de leurs clients.

From the pick-up at the airport to the departure, good synchronization with the people (taxi, hostess of the apartment) everything was perfect. The apartment is very functional: - a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, taxis, shops, bus stop for capital or to continue to the north of the island .... and Other shops and banks ... - the interior is very neat, everything and everything for comfort, beautiful decoration, not to be too hot (ceiling fans in all rooms even on the terrace!) ... Fantastic apartment
What a fantastic holiday. The location of this apartment is ideal, just a short walk to the lovely beach, bars and restaurants. Everything is included in the apartment for a very comfortable stay. I particularly loved the swimming pool area which was very quiet during my stay. Some lovely restaurants including Zaccios, my favourite, also Surfside is great for 'happy hour'!
